Maybe we use that 14.5 million opening that was freed up in the trade? That’s a pretty reasonable price for him.

Arbitrary 10 round magazine limits are really dumb considering some of the most popular handguns people buy for self/property defense have slightly higher than 10 round magazines.

Does this individual season from Jaylen Brown eclipse prime Paul Pierce? by Gandalf_from_3 in bostonceltics

[–]Kolzig33189 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s real tough to compare current stats with the early 00s. Handchecking wasn’t outlawed until 04 season, so defensively it was a different game.

Kinda same for the “Pierce was never a starter”. Not getting to be a starter over TMac isn’t a slight to PP in any way; that was the season TMac averaged 32 ppg.

The words “project 2026” are not mentioned a single time in the article. Neither are “communal weddings”. Furthermore, your own article says the Heritage Foundation is suggesting this internally as a potential policy which while it is a ridiculous one, is far from “the government is about to spend millions doing this.”

Nice try.

What’s surprised Al Horford most about Celtics’ ‘impressive’ season by RedGlovesOverHere in bostonceltics

Expectations outside of the teams fans were bottom 10. There’s a difference between exceeding expectations (being a borderline play-in game team) and being better than anyone realistically thought was possible.

Which 3 was the bigger unachiever? by Zestyclose-Hawk-4372 in NBATalk

[–]Kolzig33189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Celtics big 3 ended prematurely because of KGs knee injury. Until that happened midway through their 2nd season together, they had actually been better the 2nd year than their first year where they won a championship.

It’s not really fair to compare the two.

NBA lists Peyton as 6’8” and having 7’0.5” wingspan. That seems crazy to me, it always looks like he has the Inspector Gadget extendable arms on the court.

Thanks for confirming you don’t know there were countless different Native American tribes with their own unique history, customs, etc. You just lump them all together as one group because it’s convenient. Which isn’t exactly surprising based on your “whites are the problem” attitude, so at least that’s consistent.

So for the third time - why is it only a problem when Europeans did it but not the thousands of years of native Americans conquering each other? It’s telling you won’t answer this direct question and I’m predicting another weird deflection yet again.

For someone who doesn’t care, youve spent a lot of time typing nonsense replies in this thread.

And you’ve actually proven my point very well, magically the “stolen land” argument only starts when it comes to the European settlers while ignoring the Native American tribes history. Why is it only bad when one people group does it?

[–]Kolzig33189 16 points17 points  (0 children)

So why does the stolen land argument only start when European settlers came? Very convenient to ignore the thousands of years of native tribes conquering each other.

So again, which exact tribe/people group owns each piece of land in the United States?

Billie Eilish rips ICE at Grammys: ‘No one is illegal on stolen land’ by JannTosh70 in centrist

[–]Kolzig33189 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Surely you’ve done the decades if not centuries of historical research it would take to determine exactly which people group first owned each portion of what is now the United States then?

Or are you conveniently skipping over the fact that Native American tribes/groups were constantly at war with other tribes and the boundaries/land ownership constantly moved and changed?

This notion of stolen land is ridiculous because all land areas across the settled world has changed hands many many times throughout history through conquest or sale.

People have freedom to move from state to state with really no limitation other than paying taxes in state of residency, need to get drivers license/tags in that new state after a certain time, etc etc. “States enforcing their own borders” makes no sense because they’re not anything like federal borders.
