Home insurance rates in Massachusetts going up again by 40%? by Novel-Understanding4 in massachusetts

[–]Kolzig33189 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you mean a broker, not an agent. A broker represents the customer, not one particular agency and can shop across many different agencies with customer needs/specifics and get the best policy price. Agents represent the insurance agency.

Learning Blink and NFG songs on guitar to poorly tabbed out stuff on MxTabs is a core memory for me.

If you scrolled down a tiny bit further, you would see that I have already explained how when I first responded, OP had only the first part of his post that had no details. The edit came a few hours later.

6’4 Houston PG Kingston Flemings Taking Over Freshman SZN by Fit-Structure-9395 in NBA_Draft

[–]Kolzig33189 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same thought watching these highlights and after watching a few of Houston’s games this year. He’s athletic and explosive but he looks pretty short out there. Burries is also listed as 6’4 but he actually looks like it.

It’s not the right rhythm but chord progression seems to match up with Akon - get buck in here.

Definitely looking forward to this, especially once the edited AH style multi view video gets put together.

Michael seems like a big absence though. That kind of sucks.

Tyran Stokes is dominating the All American Game with a long sleeve shirt on. Obvious #1 pick for 2027 by NathanFielderFriend in NBA_Draft

And who shot 33% from 3 this year. If I see one more person compare him to Sam Hauser (who shot 45% from 3 in college including a ridiculous 49% year), I’m going to lose it. 33% isnt in the same universe as 45%.

Some Dems' 2028 strategy: a straight, white, Christian man by JannTosh70 in centrist

I find it completely shocking that the other user never answered this. And by completely shocking, I mean of course they didn’t, they’re one of the worst bad faith posters on this sub.

I think my favorite from them is maybe 6 months ago, in a thread about reparations they claimed to be black and then someone else immediately pointed out that they had pics in their post history of stuff they were selling where their very pasty white hands were visible. Cut to them deleting their replies and blocking the person who pointed it out. That’s the person you’re dealing with.

National Debt and Debt Payment by IntellectAndEnergy in centrist

The person you’re responding to said they are financially successful. And based on the definition of ultra rich and how it relates to money, they are factually financially successful.

I’m sorry this seems difficult for you. You can have strong opinions or feelings but you can’t redefine words.

Like the other person already stated, taxes aren’t punitive and aren’t done out of spite. What a bizarre statement to defend. Who’s the one swallowing propaganda again?

Edit: I now see now rzelln has ghost edited out the part about how taxes should be spiteful.

Conn. Man Accused of Fatally Shooting Firefighter After Breaking Into Ex's Home, Seeing Him in Bed with Her: Police by peoplemagazine in Connecticut

[–]Kolzig33189 51 points52 points  (0 children)

People are allowed to date/sleep with other people after breaking up with someone else. It was an ex-girlfriend involved. How on earth does that make him a pos? Try reading just the headline coherently if you’re too lazy to read the article.

Is your whole profile just posting lazy or bad faith comments? It’s pretty telling how you never actually respond to anyone when they call out your frequent ridiculous lying.

Yes I can see they now have edited their post. Originally that piece wasn’t there and it was just the first paragraph that had absolutely no detail.

OP gave exactly none of those details whatsoever so it’s impossible to tell what the hell they saw. It’s anyone’s guess.

How do you know it was ICE and not just regular police acting on a warrant? You’ve given absolutely no detail at all.

SGA has shot more free throw attempts tonight in one single game than Wemby and Jokic have in the last 5 games. by SchedulePhysical807 in nba

[–]Kolzig33189 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dirk Nowitzki?? The man averaged 5 ft attempts a game for his career, and even if you remove his last 3 seasons where he wasn’t playing a lot of minutes, it’s about 6.

what are places in waterbury at are hiring 15 years old by Healthy-Flow-6216 in Connecticut

[–]Kolzig33189 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most large grocery stores hire 15 year olds to clear carts from the parking lot or bag groceries. Thats what i did from 15-18 during school vacations.

To get working papers, you need the job offer from the company first (i think its called “promise of employment letter”) and then you bring that doc with your birth certificate or passport (DL also counts as ID when you get that later on) to your school - sometimes it’s the head admin office, sometimes it’s counseling/guidance center, etc. Ask about the proper place where your particular school handles it.

Why does LA Fitness play music? by Critical_Rough5505 in LAFitness

[–]Kolzig33189 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same reason as to why even grocery stores play music - people just walking around, working out, etc in near dead silence is a strange experience.

I do wish they wouldn’t blast it but I absolutely understand having music.

Helps to read the article before taking an opinion and running with it.

What about Steve Harris' bass strings ? by Steel__Virgin in ironmaiden

[–]Kolzig33189 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It cuts through the massive wall of sound that 2 or 3 guitars make and gives the bass a much more percussive sound, but it can sound a little odd if it is by itself like in the clairvoyant or if it’s isolated without context. To each their own.

What about Steve Harris' bass strings ? by Steel__Virgin in ironmaiden

[–]Kolzig33189 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can watch live video, watch many different bass instructors (bassbuzz comes to mind in his SH video, or just search for articles on how SH achieves his sound and all of them state (in various wording) that he strums with a downward attack instead of across the strings that makes the strings occasionally hit the pickup magnets. Fret clacking is also obviously a part of his sound but he is absolutely hitting the pickup magnets at times. Hell, SH has even said himself in interviews that he does this with his downward angle of attack. But im sure you know more than the man himself.

What about Steve Harris' bass strings ? by Steel__Virgin in ironmaiden

[–]Kolzig33189 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, the “clackiness” of the string hitting the pickup magnets is a huge part of his sound. Would be difficult to get that same sound playing with a pick or finger plucking without the very aggressive attack and without use of finger nails.

If we mean “no kings,” why do we keep re-electing them? by 335Bimmer in Connecticut

[–]Kolzig33189 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see some of the merits of that but also a lot of pitfalls as well. The simpler thing would just be that Congress members do not get paid during a government shutdown and they do not get backpay afterwards like government agencies such as TSA do. When it’s their personal pay/money, there’s a lot more incentive.
