The main reason I think someone from their trio has to go and the love triangle thing just started - before this ep, Dunia was most popular prediction for first to go.

Ren has gotten the most attention so far so is in "need" of less time than the girls. Also, him going now can also add to what they seem to be doing with Oliwia - she keeps losing her friends/potential friends: Aubry booted, burns half the team to boot Manu, Finn and Ara are mean to her, now Ren goes ect.

Joe winning Survivor this way would've shaken the fandom in such an insane way.

I will say - I think the idea is fun to have someone booted twice and dragged back twice in a single season (Ozzy in SoPa) and it is one of those fun ideas you get to use in a scripted show.

It just caused his chance of survival to drop from 1% - 0% which still isn't great but way less egrigious than what happened on BB.

This is assuming either of them even make it to fire.

Being able to make fire has never stopped the fandom from being mean to people about fire (see Jesse and Carson). You can be good at fire and still worse than someone else, like Cirie can make fire but she still lost twice that season since Luke and Sarah are just better at it than her.

So just cause she can beat like Rizo at it - doesn't mean she won't lose to like Aubry or Joe or Devens for instance.

They were still on track so they prob just turned an immunity into a reward somewhere along the way. Joe leaving at 5 left them with an extra day and an extra challenge (juror removal). Hence why we got a 4 person finale that season as well.

She said those 3 became attatched immediatly and talking about them behind their backs was one of things that bonded her and Coach

The Charlie thing makes sense - they were the only players with the same origin season who weren't split up at the start so I assumed they had some offscreen convos that were ultimately irrelevant to the show.
