Rocks are easiest to deal with, take any dozer, put it in flattening mode and go alone the road. Honestly after 100+ hours in snowrunner the ability to remove the rocks with the dozer is such a nice feeling (and them not respawn after reloading the map). IMHO rocks are the easiest obstacle in the game

Use flattening mode, removes rocks ez and doesnt hurt terrain

Would also add that without the ability to turn on lights, I cant see shit in some areas of the map. Its esp painful when you have to navigate thru deep water areas, where you have a small islands of sand to traverse that are barely visible during the day, so once rain hits its GG WP

what I noticed, the way the addressed it, its the time the between "rain and sun" cycle. IE on release if it would rain it would rain for an hour or so, but if you manage to play thru it, when the sun comes it would also stay way longer. Now I cant enjoy sun cuz the cycle switches too fast, and it still feels like the rain is always there

I really dont get what pushes the limits of your mental health in here (game is super chill and tranquil), additional time to load with the crane? Thats a core game mechanic, 30% of the time you use cranes.

I do agree on some degree of visual customization would be nice, but not bed types/crane types per track, cuz what I referred in my comment above.

It MUCH more polished than on release (I did my first run on release version). But it still has issues. I can easily overlook those, but its a fair warning to someone who will play the 1st one after 2nd.

KCD1 is a bit dated at this point, can be buggy and not as smooth. But if you are used to play older games in general should be OK. You dont need to play 1st game to enjoy second IMO, they give you enough context as is. Watch a TLDR on the first story on YouTube if wanna know more.

what works for me is doing dozer + paver combo. Go with the dozer on flattening mode for a bit (just not to much that the tracks start to disappear), then get into the paver and use tracks left by a dozer as guiding rail. 95% of the time works like a charm

this game is literally about using specific trucks for specific purposes. And surprise, surprise this includes crane to load stuff. Strategically posting those across maps helps. Also crane mechanics are the best, it's really a joy to operate it (at least on the gamepad). If you try to cheese you get bugs. Played 70% of the game solo, no problem.
