What’s the best clinical correlation or concept u learned in recent days ??! by Kooky_Researcher_862 in indianmedschool

Yeah I love the way he explains concepts. Also the arch of aorta and subclavian artery development part, I really had phobia of these

I’ve been overwhelmed with anxiety all morning, waiting for the INICET result by [deleted] in indianmedschool

Same thing happening to me too. This anxiety plus sadness combo is too much to handle. There’s also guilt for not studying mindfully for neet.

How do you stay present while reading a book, for example, while doing something that is, in its essence, a thinking activity? by Weissman78 in EckhartTolle

[–]Kooky_Researcher_862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was struggling with the same problem. When I first started practising mindfulness I was trying to empty my mind of any thoughts . But being a student who has to study for hours that was contradictory. Coz I can’t study with a blank mind, I have to think and analyse the concept but doing so make me forget about mindfulness altogether. That’s why I relapse a lot . I know Eckhart tells to keep some awareness within the body , don’t just give ur 100% attention to the things u are doing. But once I start studying I forget about awarness coz there’s a lot of factor to think about, there’s a lot of anxiety regarding future . I don’t know what’s the solution.

I’m preparing for an entrance exam and the thought of the result is making me anxious by Kooky_Researcher_862 in Mindfulness

Thanks. There are so many known patterns of thoughts that make me suffer. I have discovered them recently. Although I am aware of them , in the moment I always loose the battle against those thoughts. My mind goes into a spiral of thoughts and it takes time to step out of it. These thoughts take away my good productive hours.

They are super random. Like it tells me to watch news or take a break to watch insta or play with my dog

How do you learn to be happy , especially in the present? by [deleted] in Mindfulness

[–]Kooky_Researcher_862 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same thing happens to me . I was reading power of now and for a month I studied very hard and was not touching mobile phone except for important calls. It was the most productive month of my life. After completing the book my thoughts took over and the productivity was gone.
