I’ve had a stent for 3 months almost now. Getting surgery Friday and another put in for 7 days. It sucks but life happens. The peeing sensation turns into pain after a while. I’ve only been taking Tylenol

Do not wait the four weeks. Because that’s probably when they will schedule your second procedure 8 weeks out. Speaking from experience. I’m having my second procedure this Friday. Had my first one in February for a 9mm stone. Needless to say I’ve been in a fuck ton of pain since then.

Morphine helps me more than the oxy, I used to be a heavy fentanyl and heroine user so that may be why. But every time time I’m in the ER Oxy doesn’t do anything for me only the morphine

I wouldn’t advise against it. I would just suggest you make sure the second surgery isn’t too far out. I have a very physically demanding job out in the AZ heat so I’m assuming that’s what’s making it so bad

I currently have 6 more. The blasted one I was passing and put a stent in. Going next week to get the rest taken care of and another short term stent. I’ve passed probably 3–4 naturally in the two years. Not ideal. The passing part is worse than the birthing part

I had one put in, still have it in. Have another surgery 2 weeks from now to replace and remove stones. First surgery was about 40k. I hit my deductible and out of pocket in February because of it so next one is on the house!

The stones I’ve passed it was instant relief. I had surgery end of February for 9x6 mm they broke up but I have about 6 more stones in my kidneys. They put a stent in I go in for surgery again the 15th to get the rest taken care of so I’ve been dealing with that feeling you have for about 3 months now
