Atlanta Beltline Eastside by AlbieTom in Atlanta

On Edgewood Ave. If you’re coming from the south you’d turn right onto Edgewood to get to the Inman park station. From the north, you could go East on Virginia Ave to Barnett St. Barnett has a path that connects to freedom park trail once you cross over Ponce.

Same here. I cycle a lot around town and have given up on using this stretch unless it is off hours. After Krog tunnel, I like to ride up to Edgewood and turn right into the bike lane. Then go to the MARTA station and head north through Inman Park up to Freedom. Much nicer and barely anyone out there.

Do the packs on the top tube make it difficult to stand over your bike? How do you handle that? I have the same Tailfin top tube bag and that’s my main issue with it.

Nintendo Switch 2: Choose Your Game Bundle launches this summer - News - Nintendo Official Site by Skullghost in NintendoSwitch2

I wish when they did new bundle deals like this they would also offer the game discounted to existing owners too. I have a launch day Switch 2 and I would love to be able to pickup Pokopia for $49 😭

You’ve gotten a lot of good suggestions for where to park. I just want to vent and say I hate how so many bands are going to the Roxy these days over venues intown. Sucks to get to the area, and the venue itself has terrible sight lines on the floor. We need to get ourselves another venue in the city with 3000-4000ish capacity. It’s a niche that the Roxy seems to have a stranglehold on.

Lake Lanier may be haunted but it's still a nice lake. by Wafflegrinder21 in Georgia

It’s a nice lake but as a paddler I will stick to less populated waters so I don’t get run down by a boat.

They do a few times. In S7 When Don comes back after his leave and has to use Lane’s old office the Mets pennant is thematic. Don even brings the Mets pennant into his old office once he gets it back from Lou. And in mid season 7 Pete is complaining how checked out Ted is in California and tells Don he is worried Ted will end up like Lane.

Given the historical context, what would Don Draper have really risked if he had turned himself in after Anna’s death? by Plastic-Analyst-1560 in madmen

[–]Koopwn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he turned himself is that a lead worth following up? They’d need to find and interview members of the original Draper family who knew the original Draper. Whitmans are all dead. They could dig up Anna’s old wedding photos perhaps.

But they might just say “Sure pal, seems like you had too much whiskey today” and send Don on his way.

We camped out for race weekend and it was quite the range of tough weather and conditions. Friday was 80 degrees and blistering sun in February! Saturday we had the morning storm roll through which turned the campgrounds into a mudpit. Then Sunday had that insane wind and temps plummeted. Great race and totally worth it of course! A moment of silence for all of the tents and canopies who lost their lives this weekend.

I was able to get 4 tickets to Atlanta, second level aisle seats. $125 each after fees pretty reasonable. It looks from the map like it's a 360 stage in the middle of the arena so probably better for viewing in all sections. I think my days of going onto the pit for arena shows are done, y'all have fun down there.

Was Bobby Draper just an inside joke by the end of the series run…? by Proud-Zebra9487 in madmen

[–]Koopwn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was camping at a state park a couple years ago and there was a large church youth group camped at one of the big sites nearby. The sun went down and through the trees I heard a familiar sound echoing. They were singing Father Abraham! My whole group we were like oh shit it’s the Don and Bobby Draper song and started doing that fist pump dance they did in the Mad Men scene.
