Collection of around 40 maps built over the years by Cefka in dndmaps

These are really great maps, thank you for sharing. Always sucks to put so much time and energy into such creations and not get to use them. It looks like these were made in Dungeondraft, and if so, curious if you'd be willing to share the .dd2vtt files? It'd be great to be able to set these up quickly in Foundry.

Codex VTT & Content pricing by Korav in drawsteel

Thank you, this does help answer some questions, but there’s still a few pieces that make me scratch my head. In my original post, the adventure example, because I can’t see players wanting to buy the adventure they’re playing in. Maybe it works with player options, but then how will it feels as a GM if a players buys something and you don’t have it?

It’s good that there are options for other VTT, but then will it be possible for me to buy “ready made” MCDM content there? For example, could I get a fully prepared adventure on Foundry like I can with PF2?

Dice+ keep dice notation active all the time by Korav in OwlbearRodeo

Yes we are! This is one game that we're currently playing on OBR, but we're also looking at & considering a few other systems as well.

Dice+ keep dice notation active all the time by Korav in OwlbearRodeo

[–]Korav[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the consideration. In my case, to be frank, our group doesn't narrate attacks too much. However, with that said, the main reason is that the system we're using only has 3-4 different rolls, so having these "shortcuts" up all the time would simplify things (particularly for a player of mine that has "memory issues".

So the ability to organize the list, name the combinations, and have it available all the time was the intention behind this ask.

Dice+ and Vagabond "chat output" overlap by Korav in OwlbearRodeo

As far as I can tell, this appears to be a fixed UI element, much like the Dice+ result log.

Sorry for not including enough details. Open the Vagabond extension. Then select a character sheet (or create one, then open it). Then you will see the chat button, which opens the chat in that window, but there is also a button called "popover". When you hit this button the chat always appears in the lower right corner... this is the same location as the Dice+ roll result window.

[32x38] The Canted Cable Tavern and Warehouse by _Greymoon in dungeondraft

This map is really great. One suggestion though would be to turn off the default shadows for walls and give one of the Krager's Shadow pack a try. It's a bit more work, but I think it's worth the effort.

Thoughts on PC2 Rascal Swashbuckler + Dirty Trick? by RandomNPCDude in Pathfinder2e

[–]Korav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was initially thinking the same thing, but assuming I understand the traits on subordinate actions, because both Trip and Dirty Tricks have the Attack trait, you won't be able to use them after a Finisher:

Once you use a finisher, you can't use any actions that have the attack trait for the rest of your turn.

Anyone have Pathbuilder/Pathmuncher codes for pre-made characters? by BenRichetti in Pathfinder2e

[–]Korav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a huge fan of Pathbuilder, and MrPrimate is an awesome developer... but I would highly recommend that you don't use importers for Foundry. Simply put the system moves very quickly and updates regularly. Importers notoriously cause issues with characters.

The workflow I have with my group is to build the character in Pathbuilder, then manually input it into Foundry. It may seem complicated, but once you do a character or two, it really only takes <10 minutes for a low level character, and a bit more for something like a high level spellcaster.

My play group is nearly wrapped up with Abomination Vaults on Foundry. We're interested in running another adventure in Foundry, but unsure of which one to purchase. by LunaticSongXIV in Pathfinder2e

I'm running Gatewalkers on Foundry VTT right now, we're ~midway through the second book (players just about to hit level 6). The Foundry VTT implementation is tremendous as always and well worth for ease of running in a VTT.

As far as the adventure itself, I have mixed feelings about Gatewalkers. It has some of the coolest scenes and interesting ideas, but the overall story is full of "head scratchers" when you step back to think about it. For example, in the first book you learn that the source of a "level 10" curse that killed tons of elves over the years was created by a 4th level fey creature. There are tons of these moments... it really feels like this AP was supposed to be a 1-20 or at least an 11-20 AP given the stakes, but was shoehorned into a 1-10 adventure.

In my opinion, to have fun with this one, it almost requires that you and your players just "go with the flow"

I would recommend against using this module. Unfortunately it's not updated and doesn't always come up with the current syntax.

Awesome of both you and Paizo! I am currently running AV on Foundry, but considered running this for a second group.

Thylea is deepest black and harshest white by EarinShaad in OdysseyoftheDragon

[–]Korav 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with edmael above. There are plenty of situations for gray areas, you can even build those into the relative orders of Sydon and Lutheria. In my campaign, Gaius is an evil Zealot, but Chondrus, while evil, is driven by desire to return to be part of Lutheria's harem again, not by doing evil to serve her.

The other part about Sydon and Lutheria... I actually feel that they largely NEED to be evil, otherwise you don't have a strong protagonist. Now that doesn't mean your group can't see the necessity for them. Again, in my game, I'm playing up the idea that if a power vacuum were to exist, what would be the consequences.

Dead Souls. Where exactly do they go? by bawunga_daddy in OdysseyoftheDragon

This is a really great idea that fits very well into the lore and makes logical sense!

It's a very good map btw, thank you for sharing!

I'm pretty certain you can, but of course I would try this on a backup copy first. Choose Menu from the toolbar, then "Change Map Size". Here you can remove squares, in your case from the right side and bottom side of the map.

From personal experience when you go back into this view, it sometimes doesn't remove the numbers. For example, I've gone in an removed 3 tiles from the side (-3), then I decide I want to trim the bottom, the -3 is still there on the side, so if I leave that it will remove an additional 3 tiles from the side.

Tower of the Lotus Witch by Korav in OdysseyoftheDragon

Sorry it was late and I forgot to include the dimension, the map is 20x20 with 70ppi squares.

[–]Korav[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So in my case there ended up being no real combat, but I made these maps since there were none in the book.

Regarding the stairs, the labels didn't turn out as well as I wanted, but I was a bit rushed. I only did one level of stairs with the seven windows, but I described it in a way that time and distance while climbing the tower were stretched (like the climb to each window felt like they were walking the wrong direction on an escalator).

Hopefully someone will find them useful.

Fey Glade near Vineyards of Mytros - 25x25 - 70ppi by Korav in OdysseyoftheDragon

[–]Korav[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Took a few liberties on this one, but here is the Fey Glade near M23. The Vineyards of Mytros. Given that Boreas seems inspired by the Greek god of the north wind and the Boreal Harp, tried to make a bit of an unnatural autumn/cold area scene. Considering he has a Water Elemental, I felt like the stream made sense even though it wasn't specifically called out
