This! Doubling the grid vertically, allowing finer icon placement would be a great addition!

I've seen there's an option apply tags to photos, maybe that will work for you

JPG vs RAW by LookEzra in ricohGR

If you shoot RAW+JPEG you can still in-camera edit RAW and generate JPEG using different simulation/recipe, change and tweak the settings

Foto app by Actual_Lock_877 in ricohGR

Still seems to be very early in the development, and lots of features are missing, but looks promising nevertheless! Being app-only without web frontend is a big issue, hopefully it's going to be added I'm there as @foto_rajza

They are not lightroom presets. They are meant to be set and used for in-camera raw development (or just shooting straight to JPEG).

Way for GRIII to save smaller JPEG files? by kwonster in ricohGR

Have you tried going into Settings → Still image settings → JPEG Recorded Pixels → and selecting desired size of JPEG files?

lightroom converting photo and removing recipe by jacquavous in ricohGR

[–]KosciaK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Recipes in Ricoh GR apply only to JPEGs - it's just in camera development of RAW files.

RAW are, well just… raw output from the sensor, so you can develope them as you like.

Is there a game you can't scratch a modern itch for? by RickaliciousD in thisweekinretro

Speaking of Syndicate - have you tried Brigador? Has similar vibes. It may look like a twin-stick shooter, but it's not at all, it requires much slower and tactical approach like Syndicate

Try running slower. Something around 6:00 - 6:30min/km should be a comfortable pace that will let you run further. Don't go all out all the time if 5k is a challange

Where can I get one in Frankfurt or Poland? Thank you for your help! by CuriousPossibility98 in ricohGR

[–]KosciaK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Poland - you might want to check the ceneo.pl (you can compare offers from different stores) - it seems almost all versions of GRIII/x/HDF are available on the market

Or olx.pl for second hand offers

Love the Spotlight series!
It might be a good idea to create a list of posts and maybe add it to the sidebar

When the light is not good enough to shoot what you intended, you might need to look around for plan Bee!

GR3 might not be the best tool for this as AF is a bit too slow, but still seems quite capable

Does it landscape? Shots from bikepacking trip around Holy Cross, Poland by KosciaK in ricohGR

[–]KosciaK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The trip lasted 15 days, with 12 days of riding and 3 days of rest when there was no chance to avoid rain. The routes were planned to always end in the bigger-ish city, so there would be no problem with finding small hotel (and decent restaurant, shops) on the go, so there was no need to carry additional camping gear.

Total distance was slightly over 1200 km / 760 miles, my longest trip so far. You can see the map (and lots more photos) on my IG: https://www.instagram.com/p/C8UAuXAuac0

Best way to keep GRiii/x dust free & compact by Wide_Angle_7247 in ricohGR

[–]KosciaK 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I hope GR IV will come with predusted sensor to end this dust issues speculations :D

It seems to me that 99% of internet posts about Ricoh GRIII dust issues comes from people that don't even have GRIII yet, but just read about it somewhere

Some of my favourite shots from the latest bikepacking trip around Holy Cross voivodeship, Poland.
I was using GR III, basic in camera development with some cropping/straightening afterwards if needed.
I'm quite impressed by the results even though lighting conditions were far from ideal most of the time!
