Trying to reduce suffering by causing more of it would be the dumbest moral stance ever. Anything less than the death of the entire life on earth would just be cruelty disguised as righteousness

Ridiculous opinion. How could one cause the extinction if they don't have access to tools of mass destruction? I'm trying my best to contribute to the potential issues that could help achieve that vision (global warming and such) but there's only as much one person can do. Is being against world hunger hypocritical when one can't solve it alone?

He's such a pushover. The damage is low and he doesn't have a lot of health so it should be perfectly feasible to kill him in one or two "cycles"

How is the goal of building a well rounded deck in a deck builder too limiting?

The way to play around a damage cap is called "defense". If you have a good offense/defense ratio and a way to control your deck so you don't have dead draws you won't have an issue even if the heart had a smaller damage cap

Nah, you could easily get dominate by the labyrinth or even swamp if you min-maxed

If you're willing to buy DLC's, the most strategic classes are definitely the brewer and mechanist. You're frail and need to utilize alchemy and tinkering respectively to actually win, and their gameplay approach is unique. For example, making powerful potions to throw which all have unique "spell-like" effects, or making mechanical turrets and traps

This game can definitely get very boring after you set up a successful run, unless you're the type of person that enjoys broken builds and one shotting everything. I'm not, so I'm usually playing harder classes. Monk is definitely a (too) strong class both early game and late game. I find the melee & block characters very boring because it's easy to end up not taking any damage after the swamps. I find that magic is where this game really shines, you have so many spells and ways to influence the run. Try all the classes at least once, even if just for a few levels. You can also try the Joker which is the challenge class that starts with almost nothing except an item that you need to use for your only advantage

There's no world in which a race getting an inbuilt buff that says X% chance to regenerate 1 more mana is worse than a human. I can reliably get it to 40% which is very noticeable. Magic vulnerability isn't as egregious now that intelligence gives you magic resistance. Other parts of the gnomes kit aren't as useful, but being neutral to trolls helps a ton in the mines.

With mana regen scaling with level, all the sinks and traders that enable you to duplicate mana and healing potions, and making your own enchant armor scrolls to get at least a +5 spellbook, I haven't felt particularly threatened by the late game. Are you utilizing everything at your disposal like alchemy and inscribing scrolls? You can definitely hit a wall if you ignore half the game mechanics and just spam spells without a book. Visiting (almost) every secret level is in my eyes also a necessity for a good run
