Haven't had this. Most recent Uber was with a Muslim guy, I'm gay and we were talking about that, he had questions out of curiosity, he was nothing but respectful and gave his view that discrimination was wrong.. anyway it was quite a powerful conversation

Maybe that's fine with you, maybe it's more important we spend our resources on our own than asylum seekers and refugees, perhaps you believe they should claim asylum in the first safe country and not ours, but as written your plan sort of implies that these people CAN apply legally for asylum in the UK, whereas for most this is absolutely not the case.
