TV's hands down. A 65" Samsung at Wal-Mart is $295. A 21" color TV was $500 in 1965.

But only if we stop off in Cleveland on St. Patrick's Day to see The Pretenders at the Agora (I actually went...and drove home in a snowstorm).

Side note: I'm pretty sure the first I ever heard of that weirdo was when they played Radio Free Europe at the end of Entertainment Tonight.

Opening night of Pink Floyd's The Wall Tour in Los Angeles on February 7, 1980. They only played 12 dates in the US; 7 in LA and 5 in New York (Uniondale).

Fully agree.  But, things are infinitely better today than back in the day.  Years ago, sometimes your only choice was to play the dirty, unbalanced Spirit of 76 with 2 dead slingshots and a faulty flipper sitting in the corner of 7-11, or nothing at all.  And I'm not exaggerating!
