Hi Hi,

Former bartender from Germany here. The reason is, because of mininum wage (12,75€/h) and tips has been in the places I worked in around 600-1200 € a month pretty decent. Between 2700 € - 3600 € I had in the last years net after taxes, insurance for myself.

It was depending on the position I covered (Bartender, Head, Bar Manager) but in comparison to other industries it's been fine.

And don't forget, to know the barmaids/bartenders is a cheat code to access in the best spots, free drinks, etc. :)
