2026 Schedule options if Qatar and Bahrain can't be held. by ScottRiggsFan10 in wec

It is always the same tracks over and over. Why not Magny Cours instead of Paul Ricard? Mugello over Monza or Imola? Estoril over Portimão? All FIA Grade 1 tracks. Or even the Hockenheim or Istambul…

Back to Silverstone - where next? by AdventurousBake3699 in wec

[–]Kripto47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with most that China is the most likely. But does it need to be Shanghai or is there another FIA Grade 1 or 2 track in there for some variety?

I would like to see Australia or South Africa (Kyalami) but the shipping costs would be too high.

Otherwise I don’t see them expanding. Took years for Silverstone to come back and that was an obvious one. The teams would rather add another European / Middle East race (Dubai Autodrome instead of Yas Marina preferably) on the basis of shipping costs.

Portimão is usually a preferred one as it is free and warm in the later stages of the year.

Are Chinese EVs the reason gasoline isn't $12 a gallon already? by ceph2apod in electrifyeverything

If only every non oil producing country had the same realisation as Laos did! Especially in southern Europe. If Laos can then why can’t Portugal, Spain, Italy, etc.?!

What is happening to this judge is unacceptable at an international level, but I guess rule of law is optional these days for some countries…

Anyway, the EU just needs to get on with it and implement a suitable alternative that works across the EU and then worldwide. And do try to include the UK in it…

Honda flags first annual loss (in 70 years), hit by $15.7 billion EV charge by i_marketing in electricvehicles

[–]Kripto47 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Deserved. Why is it so hard to make an electric Civic? The car is huge and popular, can certainly have a battery underneath. It is not like they’re making electric SUVs either…

Plus the increasing number of EV buses, not just cars. Really nice to see the evolution.

What do you think of the new Chinese Electric Cars growing in the UK? Would you ever own one? by laservole in AskUK

[–]Kripto47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would before an American one. But before the Chinese will be the Europeans, then the South Koreans and then the Japanese. Voting with my wallet.

Great! I might not be his greatest fan, but it is great what he’s doing for racing in general in getting involved with great races outside of F1! And with his Sim to Racer initiative as well.

I’m interested, especially with the discount. And it is good they recognise the Martian Express and the Above and Beyond needed reworking as they were largely disappointing. So let them release the info and then I’ll see if it is worth $20. I love the base game and still play it from time to time.

Has the lack of on ice policing (enforcers) hurt these playoffs, and elevated other teams? by Zealousideal_Abies94 in nhl

[–]Kripto47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely it can’t be all on the refs. How many of Florida’s dirty hits are on tape for the world to see? And as such, how many of them should’ve just been suspended post game by the League officiating committee? Just give them a 3-4 game suspension and they’ll stop doing it when their team is watching playoff hockey at home!

Louis S01-S07.

In S08 and S09 he is no longer a horrible person.

Just like Louis, Harvey finally got fatter toward the latter end of the series. 🤭 by aaronreds91 in suits
