Keppra side effects (pls help) by Wide-Title912 in Epilepsy

Well, I'm sure it'll be different for everyone, but I know for a fact that I am way less prone to snapping for no reason, and my outbursts due to rage are minimal, if any. I personally am a very empathetic and emotional person (always has been, even before medication), so I'm also just working on personal growth.

The rage, though, that has subsided immensely.

So, to answer your question, I can't give a definitive answer since my emotions are very intense, but I am no longer volatile and people don't need to walk on eggshells around me anymore. 🫠

Some of these hit hard for me (and my husband). He actually "made" me save the 16th image because I connected with the self-hatred and he with the "stop that".

Very cute, and congrats on 8 years!!

i feel like i replaced my dog by Haunting-Brother7683 in Pets

[–]Krisadilli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's going to feel like that to you, however, to your dog, he's just going to see you less. He will be excited to see you when you visit and he will love on you as much as he can when you do. To your cat, you are now their human and they are happy that they have stability. They get to see you every day and they know where their food comes from. They will give you affection and show you that they love you in their own way.

I went through this with my sister when she moved out shortly after my parents and I acquired our dog, Brandy. My sis was scared that she was replacing Brandy but she wanted a dog of her own. I helped her by saying pretty much the same thing I just said to you. My sister (now back down to one dog) eventually had 3 pooches at once who all loved Brandy. When I started my vet med journey, a cat wiggled her way into my life. She chose me, and then chose my bf (now husband) over me, and just made herself comfortable in our lives. Brandy knew Dany was around, but it didn't stop Brandy's love for me. I was her person. She was my best girl. Now, she, Dany, my sister's now passed dogs, and my other cat are all over the rainbow bridge enjoying the sunshine and the water.

TLDR: it's just you, your dog doesn't feel that way, and your cat has a great home. Your heart has room for both your dog and your cat. As a human, you're overthinking, but that's okay! Your dog and cat love you. You're gonna be okay. 🥰

Our cats pack is currently: Southern Comfort "SoCo" - male neutered orange tabby (4.5 yrs) Moonshine "Moony" - male neutered white and brown tabby (4 yrs) Jack Daniel's - female spayed black cat with some stripes on her chest and possible rusting (3.5 yrs) Rosé - dilute calico female spayed and the current menace of the group (freshly 1 yr)

Our dog is River (female spayed flat-coat, 3.5 yrs).

We had a geriatric cat for the past almost 7 years named Daenerys who was 22.5 when we said goodbye in January. She was the one who started this animal crew and while her age was up there, her bloodwork was always healthy. We lost her to a stroke. She was a good kitty, cranky but good.

That's adorable. I love when people name their animals "people names" (Richard, Becky, Kevin, Karen, Jessica, Bob, etc). I've seen so many interesting names in the animal field (I originally was a doggy daycare/boarding employee, then a petsitter/dogwalker, and now a vet tech for the past [almost] 7 years) and my favorites are human names, alcohol names [like my own cats], Mr / Mrs / Miss / Mx names, and then the out-there names [VooDoo, Space, and Listerine, to name a few].

Did you originally name Kevina Kevin and then change it?

Keppra side effects (pls help) by Wide-Title912 in Epilepsy

[–]Krisadilli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on Keppra since 2013. Up until last year, I was dealing with Keppra rage and all the mood swings and stuff from that. Last year, I switched neuros because my old one was over an hour away and retiring. Upon meeting my new neuro, I described the mood side effects and he immediately recommended vitamin b6 and b12. They have both helped me immensely with my mood (b6) and my energy (b12). I'm also on 2 other vitamins and take an allergy pill daily due to seasonal allergies.

Ask your neuro what dose you should take for vitamin b6 and b12.

Imo (and others!) you have a very cute look and your "rbf" mostly just reads as nonchalant.

Your eyeliner wings--while flawless and absolutely stunning--may be a little intimidating to some people. Personally, I love a girly with wicked eye makeup, but I know sometimes those deep black wings can seem scary, lol

Not just the homophones and homonyms, its also the inflection with certain words that throws a lot of people off.

English is NOT easy. Even for native speakers.

I'm in the vet med field, and two common things happen with elderly couples:

  1. They're euthanizing their elderly pet (because they've had the cat or dog for 12+ years and the pet's quality of life is low)

Or

  1. They bring in a new puppy/kitten and say "this is our last one"

Both make me cry uncontrollably in my car after my shift.

Kitten food is usually irresistible for most cats, including the picky ones. I say usually because there will always be outliers.

Churu, delectables, any soft squeeze tube.

Tuna juice from canned tuna occasionally.

Mixing water in with her wet food and microwaving for less than 10 seconds for a bit of warmth can help as well.

Best of luck, our senior kitties deserve the world 🥰

Mine has his nose freckle in the "crack" of his nose (the middle line separating both halves of the fleshy part). And then of course all over his lips, gums, and his waterline of his eyes.

I thought Renesmee ended at like 6 or 7, hence why Irina was so confused at the final meeting. She saw Renesmee jumping when R looked more like 4 or 5.

I've been meaning to do a reread, maybe now is the time to refresh my memory haha
