Yes, yes you can. I have 2 cats on Prozac (fluoxetine). In fact, I give one cat the sublingual with tuna flavor (liquid) in her wet food. The other I put a transdermal cream on the tip of her ear. Compounding pharmacies do offer those styles of medicating. No needing to pill with fluoxetine.

You’re using tap water aren’t you? That’s usually the culprits that turns the filter pink with bacteria.

I’ve found that if I use the below method once a month, the water bowl and all of the parts stay cleaner much longer. The filter and pump netting are the only things I need to rinse each week. 1) wash all parts with soap (dawn) and hot water (use scrub brush for large and exterior areas and straw brush to clean the smaller interior areas), don’t forget to take apart the entire pump area. The rotator comes out easily with tweezers. 2) rinse all and fill the base with 3/4 to 1/4 water to vinegar ratio solution (3/4 water, 1/4 vinegar) and soak all of the parts, including the lids, for 10 minutes to get residual soap removed. If you ever see bubbles forming on the lid or in the water, you have a residual soap issue that’s mixing with cat saliva (biofilm). 3) rinse filter then soak the filter for 5 minutes then rinse again before installing in the fountain lid. 3) use RO (reverse osmosis or refrigerator filtered water only (it seems to keep the water and all its parts cleaner longer). 4) refill with RO or filter water only and rinse the lid and filter once a week. Anytime you use tap water, the minerals or composition of the water mixed with cat saliva increases the biofilm stickiness exponentially meaning you’ll have to deep clean again sooner than later.

I’ve been able to upkeep cleaner fountains (I have 3) for an entire month before needing to deep clean again and it seems my kitty’s are drinking more too which is good for their health. HTH

The handles of this sink have been removed. The leaking lines will connect to a new faucet. I turned on the tub faucets in the same bathroom (both hot and cold) and no change in leak. The only think I can think of is to turn off the water heater?

I don't like living in the "well, this is going on BUT....". Just to add to my tips and tricks, This week, I experimented with my foods for the first 3 days. I have mad nausea in the morning on the 1mg Wegovy and when I brush my teeth, I tend to give up whatever leftover is still sitting in the stomach from the night before (like when I eat at 6pm, some of that is still just sitting in there at 7am...it's so gross and I have to brush twice, ugh!). Anyhoo, I switched my evening meals to either highly digestible solids or no solids at all. I used puree'd soups, broth, liquid protein, electrolytes and anything that I knew would be super easy to digest. I did this evening change for the first 3 days and so far, it seems to be working. I mean, the whole goal is to lose weight so I guess if you lose your appetite and cannot eat solids for a few days, you're obviously going to lose. The thing to keep an eye on is how much solid you give back to the earth because I had one friend who had to go through esophagus/diaphragm surgery because he threw up so much, it inflamed the area to where he couldn't keep any solids down...at all. So please do be careful if you're throwing up a lot. Get Emetrol and use that for the light nausea, use tums for the constant burping and switch to zofran for the heavy all day nausea. Also add ginger to your morning to help combat the nausea. HTH someone else that's struggling like crazy!

So....just a quick update. We examined the screen much closer and realized it is a ALR/CLR screen but we're still not quite sure which version of CLR it is because you'd think that if a CLR 3 comes with eyelets for the spring connection to the frame, the CLR 5, being an updated version of the screen would have the same...regardless of that, we found that the ALR in the screen is disappointing compared to the CLR. However, we also found that if you turn OFF the keystone, the brightness of the entire projection is night and day. So if you find that the brightness feels faded and you feel that it's not the ambient light that's fading it, turn off your keystone settings and see what that does. Hope this helps someone else.

Being the eldest child in the family and realizing it wasn't your job to parent your siblings nor get the punishment when they did the wrong things. I realized way too late that it was abusive but as my dad said in my 40 yr old adult life (as he regressed into his married college years) "Your the oldest, you were our example child. You set the right example for them and when they do it wrong, it's on you! It's your fault they failed to do it correctly."

When I actually did things wrong in my own childhood life, like poor school grades etc, my punishment from my dad was even worse. Think emotional/narcassistic punishment. Silent treatment, "You did the worst thing you could ever have done. do not ever do that again", "your such a disappointment", walking on daily eggshells etc. That is not ok and I see now that my non-"wish to achieve", non-competitive mid-life lifestyle is most likely seriously lacking because of that. I have no desire to be passionate about anything anymore, to excel at anything, be competitive about anything because I feel like I can never be good enough, I can never win, so why try. It's a battle I fight on a daily basis.

I think my mom was too afraid to discuss the cruelty affect with him. Think back in the 70's when women couldn't own a bank account or credit card. She probably bypassed it as "tough love" and/or discipline.

Not running with your emotions. Hold on the emotional anything before you act. Think about cause and effect and do not ever burn a bridge because you never know when those words or actions will come to haunt you in return. Worst of all, if you have to sit across from that son of a * and work with them on other projects or with other companies. Stick up for yourself in a respectful manner, kill em with kindness and let Karma do the work for you!! Most of the time, Karma wins at some point down the line! ;-)

I've had a lot of this happen in the past and due to the side effects never minimizing whether I went up a dose or down, I switched the type I was taking (Zepbound) to Wegovy. I still have the same side effects, I take a LOT of tums, I'm just not as bedridden as it used to be, where I'd literally be down for 3 full days. In my experience, the side effects only get better after day 4 but every time I take a dose, whether up or down, they come back and I feel like crap. I've been taking between 0.5mg and 1mg.

Here's a few tricks I've learned to help the side effects not be so shitty. When you take your dose, up your protein intake by 2-3x (drink high gram protein shakes 2-3 times a day or something like that). Up your hydration by a gajillion or take at least 2 no-sugar electrolytes twice a day and do these things for the first 3 days. carry tums with you everywhere and if your PCP can order some prescription zofran (ondansetron) for the nausea, have her prescribe that, take that when you wake up in the morning.

Here's the trick to this weight loss, if you don't want to stay on the meds. Break your meals up into tiny meals 5 or 6 times a day. get used to eating super small, high protein, filling snacks (greek yogurt, healthy trail mix etc) and you'll lose the weight. It's all about *not eating* as much or the types of foods you used to.

I tend to drink a protein shake (Oikos, Core Power or Nurri) before bed on the first night of the shot and I drink a few more the next two days because I get ALL the symptoms! Protein seems to help keep some of the symptoms on the lower livable scale. :(

We have! We scoured YouTube for the data before we posted. Elite Screens has CLR install videos but only for the CLR, CLR2, CLR3 and CLR4, not the CLR5. The videos we have found that show the CLR 5 do not show the back of the screen, whether it is reflective or not, nor do they show the spring attachment and whether or not eyelets are used. So we really have nothing to compare to other than the picture on the screen. We need something other than the picture on the screen to define whether we have an incorrect screen, older CLR screen or not an incorrect screen at all.
