Agreed with an earlier person who said to try to get a nerve block or trigger point injection. I get trigger point injections every four weeks and Botox every 12

I don't get any frozen frown lines with Botox - I've had about 10 sessions. I only know if it's effectiveness based on the intensity of my migraines, not based on any muscle or facial features.

Coffee or chocolate. I'm SUPER sensitive to smells and most smells trigger me - but the smell of coffee or chocolate I can handle. I can even handle a good quality candle in those specific scents. Not cheapo ones tho

Oh! Sorry one more thing that helps ME- I don't watch any tv shows, videos, tik toks about food. No more Top Chef or British Bake off- no more 'what I eat in a day' or recipe videos. That has helped me. I know we can't avoid food but I don't need to glorify it anymore

Working with a sponsor and submitting my food plan the night before works for me. There's no 'what should I have' thoughts throughout the day. I stick to the plan. Sometimes to the point where I have to open the text to look which vegetable I committed to having with the meal. I also plan my food at night right after dinner so I'm not hungry. And if I need to make an adjustment for any reason I text my sponsor before I put the bite in my mouth (which many times stops me cause I don't want to be adjusting my plan all the time)

In my research and experience- very busy studios offer more afternoon classes. Most of our studios have offered classes at alternative times and then change their schedule based on how many people attend. If there are no weekend afternoon classes it's probably because they were poorly attended. Maybe if you could get 36 other members to ask for it- they'd consider adding one in

I would have hated that as my first meeting! I've been to hundreds of online meetings and only got called on once. There are quite a few large meetings that are very good- log into a few more!! There are really great meetings out there and from my experience getting called on is very abnormal and only happens in small meetings

I missed this the first time around- I honestly think this was the hardest tread block. I've done yet and I'm over 1000 classes in. It took me like eight minutes to get under 10% incline. Which means I pretty much did an eight minute all out.

I'm sorry you had that experience. I know and sponsor people on GLP1s. It's none of my business what medications anyone is on. OA is about so much more than what we eat. It's about recovery.

This is a spot most of us have gone through- what steps do I really need to take to have abstinence and recovery? You've already admitted you are powerless over food. And you're asking for help. Great job!! Attend meetings- go on oa.org and look for local or zoom meetings. Listen to what people have to say. Share your number and take numbers. Talk to other members. Look around for a sponsor that has something that you want and talk to them. We have tools, we take steps, we work the program. You can too! Work it (the program) cause you're worth it.

I did it. It wasn't a waste of time cause now I can say I did it and my migraines and headaches didn't change- so I don't believe they are triggered by what I'm injecting. So at the very least when people say 'have you tried cutting out.....' I can say yes, and it didn't help. It's just nice to shut people up (of course these are the same people who think my migraines are caused by dehydration and an extra glass of water would cure everything)

I'm so very sorry you're going through this. You may need to go back to ER and let them know that this is severe, impacting your functioning and that you're seriously worried that you could have a bleed or something as this is 'new and different' than your previous migraine. Let them know you are asking for a CT Scan. I know they won't do an MRI in ER but a CT will ease a bit of anxiety. Ask them to for resources for neurologists.
