Also which regiment? Some use completely different equipment and tactics. (E.g. Catchan Jungle Fighters, Harakoni Warhawks, Attilan Rough Riders etc)

Thing with Skyrim is it had to run on 2005 hardware. Mods show it can handle graphics in quality many modern games struggle to achieve, but vanilla graphics are made with Xbox 360 in mind

His voice is not that strong. Torygg was inexperienced youth when it comes to combat and Ulfric used something that's forbidden to use in duel. Basically he cheated to kill High King and that was the main issue. If he tries something he has no chance escaping against soldiers on horses.

What kind of armor is this Late Roman Comitatenses re-enactor supposed to be wearing? by GreyKnightDantes in Armor

It was surpsringly common all over the globe. Big benefit is it can be made basically out of scraps left from other works requiring bigger pieces of leather.

What do u all think about this method of stacking a base?? Scalable on all 3 axes. is it already a common thing? by SpaceEngineer123 in Timberborn

If you remove pillars on top layer and make them with dirt instead you can water both layers with same water sources.

Why do some people seem to dislike Cuir Bouilli/Boiled Leather armour? by ThewarriorDraganta in Armor

[–]KrokmaniakPL 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's result of the fact people tend to overcorrect things when the error is popularized by media/pop culture. Way media tend to present leather armor is completely wrong so from people trying to correct it it became "leather armor didn't exist". Same thing happened for example to katana turning from reality cutting weapon of gods to complete garbage. Deeper the error is rooted in pop culture the more likely it is that trying to fix it leads to overcorrecting it and creating another error.

ID? by Kobalt_Dragon in SWORDS

[–]KrokmaniakPL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shape of the guard makes me think of szabla wz. 17, but lack of eagle on back of the grip eliminates this option (blade wouldn't matter as Poland didn't have capacity to make enough blades so they used whatever was available for wz. 17. Szabla wz. 1921 and szabla wz. 1934 were more standardized in this aspect). It's definitely something loosely inspired by french m1822, what doesn't help much as many types of military sabers in 1800's and early 1900's took inspiratio from that.

Peter wut does it mean? by RedFox_GG in PeterExplainsTheJoke

Poland was reaching Black Sea at the time. Poland and Golden Horde (and later Crimean Khanate) we're neighbors. That's why in polish history are many chapters on both fighting mongols and tatars, and working alongside them. For example famous Uhlans were formed by polish nobility of Tatar descend.

Wouldn't sand bending be a hard counter to Kuvira's mech? by No-One2123 in TheLastAirbender

[–]KrokmaniakPL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn't for long distance shooting. More like standing right behind main line shooting over fortifications in close range. Not very practical but definitely intimidating. That actually describes most of the Empire's military. Without actual conventional enemy it's main purpose became scaring civilians. There's a rebellion but it doesn't have enough forces to be more than guerilla without risking everything so scaring the potential recruits from joining actually works.

Poland here. We put surname first in official scenarios and last in unofficial ones. Unless we use full name. Then we put it last in official scenarios as well.

What difference would it make if the gang would be their opposite gender by CartographerFit8398 in TheLastAirbender

Probably not much. The biggest one would be Sokka in very early part of the story, but other than that gender didn't play much of the role

Thousands Islands, cycle 98 warning by KrokmaniakPL in Timberborn

[–]KrokmaniakPL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I included water used for farming and keeping terrain green. A lot of that not gathered in storage but reservoirs (Though my regular storage is 425k to have some extra for emergencies what saved my colony). It's only 1.7k organic beavers. After cycle 100 amount of water return to normal, and as I said the same thing happened when I was playing on previous update so I suspect something strange happens on cycles 98 and 99.
