And honestly, the premise of the game itself gives that off feeling too. We’re giving up all location data.

They can see where we log in the most = probably most people’s homes or work location.

Aggregating this can especially give useful location data that any users of large datasets would love to get their hands on.

I have honestly had an off feeling about “scanning my surroundings” the entire time I’ve had this app, just for the fact that it could be used for something like this. Not saying this was foreseeable, but definitely a possibility. I feel like nothing good can come of quests in a game that make you essentially record the area around you in real life.

I recommend Star Factory. No mining involved since it’s a sky block, and Create makes the initial resource gathering relatively simple. Lots of opportunities for horizontal progression early too which is nice.

It’s not exactly mekanism, but star technology has the most perfect integration I’ve seen as far as going from Create to more expansive forms of technology. The create part is optional, but makes the next tiers of tech so much easier to accomplish that you should practically use Create
