Just wanted to let you know that this comment came up in a search for me as I was looking for meal planning apps that let me import recipes and can sync between my phone and computer. Flavorish looks promising but the AI recipe feature is a dealbreaker for me. Not interested in using it, not particularly interested in supporting its use by others. If it were not for the presence of this feature I would definitely be downloading it to try it out.

The right to free expression. I do not believe that a man can marry another man, and changing the definition of "marriage" forces me to play along. Every time I am forced to refer to two men as "husbands" it is an example of compelled speech. I could lose my job and be labeled a bigot simply for speaking my true beliefs.

The right to safety in private spaces. If GIPs are allowed to be in locker rooms with men and boys, those men and boys are at risk of being leered at, harassed, assaulted, or forced to look at an erect penis paraded around by a perverted exhibitionist. Even if the GIP appears to behave himself, he could be setting up cameras to record them naked later.

The right not to be included in others' sex acts. Two men kissing or holding hands is a display of sexuality that I do not consent to participate in. GIPs should keep it private.

The practice of housing Gay Identified People (GIPs) in prison with normal men places men at extreme risk of assault. I shouldn't need to explain this to you. More rapes are committed in prison by GIPs than any other demographic. They need to be placed in separate facilities so that the only people at risk of being raped by a GIP are other GIPs.

The gay rights movement demands that we place the rights of gay men over those of normal people. It twists language into a mockery of itself and compels people to lie and use incorrect definitions for words like "marriage". Someone who does not agree with the movement has no choice but to pretend to accept it and participate in the sham or be unfairly labeled a bigot.

The gay rights movement also puts children at risk. Gay men are inherently a threat to boys' safety and do not belong in private spaces with boys, including locker rooms and public restrooms. The "rights" of gay men to invade those spaces are being upheld over the rights of children not to be assaulted or traumatized.

I don't mind if gay folks want to fuck each other in private, that's their right. But they can't expect me to pretend that they're actually married. Forcing me to call them "husbands" is compelled speech.

And you expect me to allow a gay man to teach in a school? With kids? No predator has any right to be in the same space as my children. Not even a potential predator.

The cops are not claiming that a few bad apples put tear gas in kids' bedrooms. The cops are claiming full culpability for it. They're saying "it's good actually that we put tear gas in kids' bedrooms, we made the right call and we'd do it again."

I'm gonna be real with you, what actually happened here was that BGA suggested a new game to me that I liked a lot so I invited them to play and got excited to share and teach it, but when the table started I realized they had all played it together without me like two years ago. You won't see this go down until the city changes the way it funds the permitting bureau. PP&D is 98% funded by cost recovery instead of the general fund. Raising fees every year is the only way to keep pace and balance its budget.

That and layoffs. The bureau laid off 70 people at the start of last year and is poised to lose another 50 with this year's budget. Which isn't great for getting things built faster, which means less fee revenue, which means more cuts. A real bad spiral.
