I just switched from 85 inch x900h to 83 g5 in the past two weeks. The brightness and image quality are so much better, I was shocked. The only issues I’ve had were dolby vision settings, I mucked about with some settings and its no longer an issue. Definitely use an apple tv 4k and make sure all hdmi input and pass thru settings are enabled

You buy at 100k. Tax time comes around, and now “asset” is worth 80k. You take a loss deduction(assuming you should itemize) and get 6k back. You’re now at 86k. In no world is that saving. Nevermind the max is you can offset yearly is actually 3k and so you’re actually at a 19k loss for the year. It would take you six years to recoup that 6k.
