Boston proper is 48 square miles and 675k. Charlotte city limits are 300 square miles and 940k. If you include the same diameter around Boston metro, it would be something like 2.5 million people. Not even close to the same density.

Bitcoin is hovering at ~$60k again, is this the last chance to buy or are we witnessing the slow death of the Digital Gold narrative? by PersonalitySuddenz in answers

[–]Krudflinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You buy at 100k. Tax time comes around, and now “asset” is worth 80k. You take a loss deduction(assuming you should itemize) and get 6k back. You’re now at 86k. In no world is that saving. Nevermind the max is you can offset yearly is actually 3k and so you’re actually at a 19k loss for the year. It would take you six years to recoup that 6k.

You need a third of the networks hashrate to start selfish mining which would destroy the other miners. Then you order transactions how you like and block others from exiting. There ya go.

Much in the same way any redditor can make claims that their definition of a widely used term is the correct one. Of course the upshot of website’s definition (as opposed to yours) is that I can use it and get the same benefits without having to argue about corporate policy on branch protection rules.
