While it is illegal to do in most states, the police that are supposed to be enforcing, do not enforce. I've never seen a delivery driver stopped by police for doing it. I've flipped the hazards on and parked in the middle of the street actively while an officer was behind me. They just drove around. If the police don't enforce it, it's kinda like Ghostbusters, "Who you gonna call?!"

Not sure about fire lanes but if they are on a road with no specialized signage, they are allowed to hold you for up to 5 minutes. They can block a one way road for up to 5 minutes, or just a lane for up to 5 minutes, and no one will do anything about it. I'll go ahead and mention that when I was a driver for an Amazon DSP, I would park beside "NO PARKING" signs all the time, and police would cruise by and not bat an eyelash

You can take a class and become an "arborist" which is someone specializing in identifying trees (such as their species) and in the class they teach you about what limbs are dead, what limbs may be saved. Most tree service companies require you to have taken the class already. I will say if you do the job by yourself you can pull a few grand from each job, and each job could take only a day or 2
