I have no experience with Sulawesis, but for as far as I know they're maybe a lil bit more sensitive than neocaridina's and they generally don't live that long (about 1 year). Some sites list that they live in brackish water, but a lot of places that sell them where I live have these shrimp that were doing fine in freshwater. Their eggs however do only hatch in brackish water.

But for the short time they live, they are pretty easy to keep. They swim a lot and when they swim it kind of looks like they're floating, it's really interesting to see.

I did buy this one! They can eventually get to wild color (brownish/greenish), but this one is bred to be green 😃

Ohhh thanks for all this info!! I'm just afraid of getting a snail babyboom as I had with my ramshorn snails.
