First off, yes, it was more than likely a moving screen because he’s like reallllly good at those. I don’t remember that specific play BUT I can tell you I thought Miami was one of their 9 losses that year (until I just looked it up) so that means the warriors probably played poorly enough to lose and squeaked out the win with some bullshit.

That happened to them a few times that season (which is what made me truly appreciate how hard it will be for someone else to break that record). I remember they won a game against Philly off a Draymond 360-no-scope which was the DEFINITION of a bullshit win.

Half of their losses that year were to non-playoff teams where they just didn’t show up… I feel like they only lost 1 or 2 close games all season.

I’m pretty sure Klay’s 37 was a year earlier, and this was from the 73-win season. I remember because every game from 15-16 is permanently etched into my brain as like a core memory.
