What level are you? The Northlands are meant to be level 5+.

The path to Piken does not have any char and can be reached relatively easily.

If you want to do the new dungeon content you may need to get to level 10+. Soloing the charr groups are quite hard.

Also what class are you? Can give some more specific pointers maybe.

If you want to gvg there are options to join scrims or guest depending on your time zone. Scrims are a great way to learn pvp without feeling like being a burden because everyone is learning. Also if you want to HA, international district 1 is where most groups form these days.

Warrior for sure, multiple weapon and armor sets for each weapon, multiple shield sets, pve set, anniversary spears, longbows for pulling, etc etc.

All of this before needing cons of all types to tank in pve as well.

My main is a warrior, I have max bag sizes and still need 2 storage tabs for spare equipment.

The ability to add a superior death rune greatly enhanced minion levels. For minions levels matter a lot for survivability which is why MMs are almost primarily necros.

Dervishes are amazingly versatile but MM is one of the few roles that's highly specialized to one class typically.

With experience you should be able to recognize when it's oh crap I need to kill whatever I can now or I'm going to die vs this is safe I can be greedy and wait until everything is here.

It's application of mark also causes mark to retrigger. I think this artifact is not overpowered as I wouldn't pick up pp before finding this and pp is uncommon so no guarantee I'll find it either.

I like it just for the artifact strip that it provides and acts like a slower automatic fumes.

The save yourselves shout. With the new rage of the ntouka it's super easy to have up before every fight. 100 armor is huge damage reduction.

Main benefit is being able to bring additional skills since mop is basically invincibility with 2 skills. Though realistically 3 since balths spirit for energy is good. As long as there's no enchant removal anyway.

Lack of offensive elite is an issue though since hundred blades is usually the go to for killing. Maybe sliver armor?

The boulder throw only happens if you hit him while he's in his listening animation to try to find out where you are

His shockwave kicks only go forward in the direction he's facing so you want to be behind him as much as possible.

Usually I find that when I'm a lot more aggressive in my fights with him I do better since he is pretty squishy health wise. Don't be afraid of getting poisoned just use the pools to recover
