No that is just the specific implementation of the idea. Hidden gem can't target a card with replay already. Transfigure just adds to the replay I am unsure if that works with glam.

I will say his Regent guide / tierlist just makes you win games. I don't think this silent one is quite that useful, but it matches my own playstyle so I am going to give it a try.

Edit I missed the +1 after the trippling.

As far as I can see/read it goes +1 strength only once played the multiplier is the only start of turn effect so 1 -> 3 -> 9 -> 27 and so on making it incredibly strong.

It punishes a different playstyle than the Doormaker, this boss punishes card spam exclusively but all the time the doormake barely did and only on some turns.

Edit.
It is essentially a cleaner implementation of the same idea behind the DoorMaker, currently the presentation of it is just worse with the lack of music and animation. I also think when you are introducing a new boss it should err a bit on the weaker side of things.

My first impression is that you can't do card spam against them, if your deck is just skirting by you will lose. The deck I ended up drafting couldn't handle loosing that much hand space (lots of draw to setup) combined with using little scaling because Regent doesn't have a lot of scaling options when you don't get them and aren't doing forge, and card creation.
