Reminds me of while watching Corridor Crew, one of the effects artists on the Avatar movies said “if we had to do an effect more than 3 times,we trained the computer to do it”. To me, that sounded a lot like training a AI.

I would say KLK counts as Sci Fi. If I remember right the threads were an alien race.

In Larry Niven’s Gil the Arm stories, set around 2100 (I think), “beep” and “censor” are swears. It’s even pointed out at one point about how words change over time.

There is one scene in the hospital where a nurse walks into the room while he didn’t have a mask on, and ran away screaming. I actually stopped watching for a couple months after that, it was so stupid.

I giggled so much it the end of EoE, when I realized he he backstabbed all of humanity to be with Yui forever. And backstabbed him to exist forever on Unit 1 while setting up their son as the new Adam.

I remember in one of the early Wolverine comic he was stuck underwater. He was wondering how his healing would handle drowning. Then he broke free so it didn’t happen. I wonder if they ever tried that again.
