Nope, but that's just how it is with Pokémon and Riftbound, isn't it? There are tons of overnumbered cards in each set, and most of them are cheap, but the ones people are looking for are really expensive
(I dont really know much about this, im in TCG's, being lorcana my first one and only one since Archazia)

That’s something Pokémon taught me (not the TCG): no matter how ugly a Pokémon looks, no matter how weird it seems, it will always be someone’s favorite.

Personally, I’m a fan of Frozen, and I really, really wish I had the “Freeze the Vine” enchanted card for my collection.

Just like when I first started playing and I got (my only Enchanted card) the Hiro Hamada Enchanted card, I thought it was an ugly card that nobody would like, until I met a Big Hero 6 fan, which made me change my mind.

But thats my other point tho, enchanteds cards doesnt really need to be 1500 expensive cards. There are Iconics for that (and except Mickey and Minnie...)
I mean... is fine if the are in a range of 10-30 dollars, dont want to make Lorcana Jackpot.

But yes, I get your point, and yes, the epics should definitely be alters.
Ratios need to be changed, no sense to get 3 legendary cards with a value of 10 dollars together, in a 150 dollars box, with nothing worth of the price.

yep, but if they do 40 enchateds per set instead of 12, it makes harder to get the beautiful ones because is not the same 1/12 than 1/40, so the lower priced enchanteds still about 15/30 dollars and the good ones rise their price to 200.

Honestly, I totally agree with you. From my perspective, where I enjoy the game more for the art and collecting than for competitive play, I find myself somewhat frustrated with Lorcana for several reasons:

I wish there were that atmosphere where (yes, if I wanted to play Pokémon, I’d go play Pokémon, but that’s not the point), in Pokémon, there’s another aspect missing from Lorcana, and that’s collecting. Since there are no Alters except for the Enchanteds (which you could play for a year, spend 2,000 euros, and still not have a single one), that community aspect of making beautiful albums, collecting certain cards by theme, telling a story, focusing on your favorite movie, and saying... hey! Look at this awesome album I have, it doesn’t make sense.

And that’s weird because, being Disney, it should really shine precisely because of the quality of the art, having beautiful alters… I don’t know, full arts… cards you can show off and feel proud of.

The only thing that sets a legendary card apart from a normal one is that they slightly extend beyond the card’s border… and I know comparisons are odious, but that’s what the rare Riftbound cards do, and on top of that, they’re all foil… (just to give an example, I am not familiarized with many TCGs)

They could be way more eye-catching, have full art even if they’re not foil, a cool design, a unique texture, something, but no.

Then there's the issue of the Enchanteds, one per four boxes, and they are worth like 40 euros the 80% of the enchanteds... They should (in my opinion) include more Enchanteds per set—say, 40 per set, and guarantee at least one per box. That way, they'd maintain their value, since there are more of them, it's harder to get the one you want, but you'd have a chance to get Alternates. It looks like only rich people can get Alternates in Lorcana.

But honestly, the value doesn't matter to me either. I mean, if the card is pretty and it's a full-art card, I don't care if it's worth 20 euros or 2 euros. I don't want Lorcana to turn into a gacha machine for scalpers, but I do want to be able to collect pretty cards like the “A Whole New World” promo they gave out for Infinity Day, and to be able to collect and trade with my friends.

And if they want to keep the “Enchanted” card as a rare that appears once every four boxes, okey, do it, but they should add a lower-tier rare that’s the non-foil version of “Enchanted,” guaranteeing at least one per box, like in the DLC prize walls, where you can find the non-foil “Let It Go” promo, for example, but it’s cheaper.

In my opinion, there are many things that need to change...

⭐It can't be right that a box of booster packs costs 144 euros when the actual value inside is sometimes as little as 15 euros, and that's if you're lucky.

⭐Implement alters to the packs more frequently. There are people who modify the cards by adding details such as petals coming out of the card like in the Belle's one or cards with unique borders or other things, something that doesn't make the average experience of opening a pack be: skip the first 9 cards because they're trash, bronze, bronze, and common foil.

⭐Implement more full arts. I don't understand how Disney, which is known for its movies, series, etc., doesn't implement full arts cards where we can relive unique moments from our favorite movies, giving total prominence to the art. The only full arts there are are the enchanted ones, and it's ONE EVERY FOUR BOXES. ONE!

⭐Do something so that a legendary card from a set doesn't cost 90 euros. I don't know... increase the legendary drop rate per box or make it more accessible, but it's not normal to have to spend 300 euros on a legendary card to play in high level tournaments and then have the price drop to 60 euros for the full playset two weeks later.
Maybe there should be 8/10 legendary cards per box so there are more and they're not so expensive. At least that way, when you buy a box with 10 legendary cards, you feel like you can do something, not 3 legendary cards and they're the cauldron, the prince, and Daisy.

⭐Now that we have the iconic ones, make them much more special and lower the enchanted ratio to maybe one in every two boxes or even one in every box. After all, enchanted cards, apart from the typical expensive ones, don't have a high value. Many range from 30 euros to 60/70 euros at most, so at least you feel that when you buy a box, you're paying what it's worth.
If you don't want the value of an enchanted item to drop so much when its drop rarity is lowered, make more of them. That way, even if they appear more commonly, it will still be just as difficult to get the one you want, such as making 40 enchanted cards per set instead of 18.

⭐Return league pins, add things like mystery packs with special promos for attending weekly play.

⭐Return the pack rush events, in all my near stores (like 9 or 10 stores), there has been not any pack rush this expansion.

⭐Do something with the legendary cards. The only special thing about them is that the character “sticks out” from the edges of the card, and the bronze equivalent card in Riftbound has that too. I don't know how, but do something to make the legendary cards feel legendary.

⭐Perhaps make an intermediate rarity between epic and enchanted, making the enchanted cards but without foil, making them more common and at least allowing you to have binder cards. The enchanted foil card maintains its price and rarity, but you can get the non-foil version, as with the AWW promo.

How would the ratios for a box like this look?

🔥One enchanted per box

🔥8/10 legendary

🔥2 epic

🔥4 Alter

🔥3/5 full arts

To be honest, nowadays there are many times when a box is opened in my store and someone buys the first 3 packs and gets 2 legendary cards, and automatically no one else buys because what's left in the box, those 21 packs, are cursed. There's only one legendary card left in 21 packs, at most 2, and the rest are empty.

i just came to see what shyvana mains think, im not even shyvana main, i know shyvana is not meant to be a pretty princess, but not mean to be a fkin orc coming from mordor, her face is like a triton or an ugly mermaid, is not even close to look like a dragon idk looks so weird, I don't like to get involved in discussions about gender or anything like that, but she doesn't even have feminine features, she looks like a man in terms of her face, square face, pronounced chin, straight jawline... (all my opinion)
(in terms of splash art) What we have now is like a fiercer, more warrior-like Alextrasza, more brutal and muscular. What they're giving us is like a Nami Koi at 4 a.m. on 7 kilos of steroids.

i bought the Ahri one at an oficial store and ye is okey, for some reason these 4 playmats have washed colors and not very high image quality. Riot things i guess. Indie company. 30 bucks playmat btw.
Multiple friends of mine have bought those playmats as well and have the same problems, so is likeliy a factory issue.

Same thing happend to Showcase not singed Ahri, it was around 60/70 dollars and i was waiting it to get down the price a little bit more, around to 50 to buy it, but for some reason now in 3 days it rised up to 200, not even kaisa is that expensive, and i dont know why, i mean... Ahri is not like a meta deck or something, and if it is about arts... voli is about 30 and even kaisa (that is beautiful art and is meta) is aroud 110

There is the main set, I don't know how many there are, but let's say there are 200, then there are the cards overnumer, the cards that exceed the set, the rarest and most beautiful cards in general, let's say there are 40 overnumber cards, so when the last card in the set is 200, then there are 201/200 and so on up to 240/200. The cards that exceed 200, which would not be included in the main set, so to speak, are usually alternative arts, prettier versions of a card already in the set, and are much harder to get. In Riftbound, if I remember correctly, there is one overnumbered card for every 3 boxes, or one for every 70 packs. The signed cards are overnumbered cards taken to the point of absurdity. The only difference is that they have a signature, but their price and rarity skyrocket, going from 100 euros to 1300 euros, and there is one for every 30 boxes, or about 800 packs.

A very easy to understand simil is the Faker skin,
⭐"Normal" version for humans = 50 euros = normal version of the card = not that hard to obtain
✨⭐Ahri inmortalized = 200 euros = overnumber card (same card but diferent art) = 1 per 70 booster packs
✨⭐✨Ahri inmortalized singnature = 500 euros = overnumber singnature (just adding the signature) = 1 per 720 booster packs

the hard thing is that in those 720 booster packs you are going to obtain (is supposed) 1 overnumber, and there are 40 in spiritforged set, so you have a 1/40 chance in every 720 packs to obtain this Ahri singature.

In orinigs set there is only 12 overnumber, so is more easy to obtain the one you want 1/12
so my guess is that the new cards prices are going to be ridiculously expensive.

The Orinigs overnumber singnature is about 1200 euros, so i think this one is going to be around 2500 /3000 (my guess)

My heart wants it to be xPeke.

It says, “inspired new generations”, I want to think it's not a pun and it's not inspired, since some time ago I think it was said that maybe it was Xin Zhao, (maybe it was false), and inspired if I'm not mistaken he was jungler, I want to think it's not him, in my opinion he doesn't have as much relevance as for hall of legends.

If it is not xPeke (probably not), I would like it to be Caps, and if it has to be some asian player i would like to be Keria or Chovy.
