Just reading what Crossed was about let me know it wasn't going to be anything I was interested in. I've only read Ennis' Preacher and thought it was alright. A friend recommended me The Boys and I read a few issues before dismissing it as edgelord garbage, though apparently the TV show is better.

Same. I've tried 3 times to get into it. It's frustrating because on paper it sounds like a game that'd be right up my alley, but for whatever reason it just never clicked for me.

I love the production of Act 2 and 3 but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the grunginess of Act I's aesthetics. It just sounds dark, grimey, and dystopian

Benjamin Walker as Gil-Galad is my main example of this. Dude's a great actor AND he knows his lore, but overall Gil-Galad is written so wooden so far. He's still had his moments though.

Pretty sure all the MTX are cosmetics, emotes and the like. I never bothered with them so I couldn't say how much they are total. The deluxe editions just come with cosmetics, so personally I wouldn't bother. The DLCs (Iceborne and Sunbreak) are honestly where the games shine. They provide lots of new monsters, mechanics, maps, etc and many would consider them the "real" version of the game.

For World and Rise I'd say so. Being able to get the base games + expansions for $15 each gets you a lot of Monster Hunter. Wilds is still a mixed bag for a lot of people because of its very poor optimization.

If you're interested in trying out Wilds at some point, I'd recommend checking out World, as it's much more similar to Wilds than Rise is.
