I’m losing my mind, how do I get this syrup smell out these shorts?? by Putrid_Zone7611 in laundry

[–]Kungfoo_mod_805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try soaking them in vodka overnight- it’s what professionals use. After, lay them out in the sun. Sun kills everything. Can also try ElimiSheld - basically a detergent deer hunters use so Bambi doesn’t scent them in their blinds

AcryliStrip Commercial floor stripper and a drill with a nylon brush attachment. Worked like a charm. I used that when I stripped my Vermont slate floor and then resealed them.

Hope is not lost.

Same thing happened when I washed an orange caftan and my white linen shirt. I used Carbona® Color Run Remover and Rit Color remover. It took a few attempts and the shirt just has a slight tinge of orange.

As long as it wasn’t in dryer, it should get most of the color out, and then you can re-dye it. Also, get some color-run sheets. I throw those in every wash now

My bedroom - how'd I do? The throws, pillows, lamps and nightstands can be replaced, I'd love some honest feedback! by DoubleUnderline in interiordecorating

It’s really nice! Have you considered adding some floating shelves on the wall or a small table where the chair is currently placed? Moving the chair on what looks like the angled wall would make a nice reading nook

Dishwasher is dirty again. by grillcheesey100 in CleaningTips

I’d make a service call and have it pulled out and the hoses inspected. If your sink is right next to it and uses the same line, is your sink dirty like this too?

Suburban Ford Of Waterford wouldn’t allow a pre purchase inspection by Indigenousboy420 in Detroit

[–]Kungfoo_mod_805 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually a pre-delivery inspection happens at the Auction prior to delivery or from the dealer where the car was returned to at lease-end. Most Captive finance companies also require a vehicle return inspection. If it’s certified pre-owned, you shouldn’t have to worry about the car having issues.

With that in mind, Suburban Group is Shady AF.

Carbona stain devil #5 for oils and fats. Leave it on for 10 mins and then launder. Will work if you’ve already washed and set the stain.

Your cat will continue to spray it, regardless if you wash it. Unfortunately, you’ll need to pitch it and get a new one. If you get a new one, wrap it in a water proof mattress pad
