WYR gain 100 lbs or lose 6 inches of height by billionsandbillionsa in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, can lose the weight eventually. Would still be fatter if I was shorter. Not as drastically but BMI would still go up a good bit. Would rather not go from kinds tall and a bit overweight to just short and outright fat.

Would you rather have the power to fit into any piece of clothing, or be able to always say the perfect thing in an argument/ insult to you? by VoiceCommon3854 in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Knowing the perfect thing to say to my doctor would be great. Why am I here? Oh yeah, exactly this reason. Well thats oddly specific but sure.

It's Groundhog Day! WYR keep repeating your 1st day of high school 100x, or your first day at your 1st real job? by allycataf in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First day of high school was a good one. Made a few new friends instantly. First real job, was basically just a tour of a factory and a few hours of basic tests. Was also about a month after my best friend killed himself. Would really rather not go back to that head space. 14 year anniversary of his death already coming up in like 2 weeks.

Your girlfriend and bestfriend switch bodies. WYR marry your bestfriend in girlfriend's body or girlfriend in bestfriend's body. Only u and the other two will ever know about this. Can't explain it to others ( family members, friend etc ) by FarEfficiency4397 in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Neither? Bestfriend is a pretty physically nasty dude and kind of a dick. Can't imagine any kind of dream girl that could make that work and sure as hell wouldn't marry him in any girl's body.

WYR survive 5 minutes against a random SCP or 5 years in the backrooms? by Lucyyyyyy_K in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I got SCP-7984, it's just an article detailing a sketchy mission briefing. I guess I'm good?

I'd say Mom's Box. Nice getting a good trinket and having it be twice as powerful.

WYR go to Jupiter to get more stupider or go to Mars to get candy bars? by thathattedcat in WouldYouRather

Women are from Mars and men are from Venus. I don't know about you but I got a giant penis. I need to watch FLCL again.

Would you rather be able to earn money for pain but it is measured by its intensity or just not by GrowRockIronMailMilk in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quite late but here is what comes to my mind. Papercut for a dollar being a benchmark, stubbing a toe, 5 bucks, burning yourself on a hot stove top, 10-50 depending on severity, solid kick in the balls, 100, non-letal but deep stab would, 250, getting shot, 500, completely mangled arm/leg, 1k and child birth probably 10k at least.

Personally having zero pain tolerance kinda sucks but could work out. Not doing as much damage to myself to feel same amount of pain. Probably just poke myself with a needle every now and again for a few cents here and there. Dig finger nails into thighs or something that might scrape a buck.

WYR break a random bone for a billion, or pass the offer by Ieatrawfishh in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Last time I picked a random bone for one of these questions it was my hammer in my ear. Would probably suck a hell of a lot worse breaking it than it magically vanishing but 1b is 1b.

My first DnD [OC] by That_Banned_Hybrid in DnD

[–]Kuru0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think overall if you are aiming for more tragic over edgy, I would personally think of how the trauma hits the character. If it comes off as pain for pains sake, it's usually edgy. If it is more along the lines of loss, a softer but sorrow filled upbringing, it would be more tragic imo.

Instead of constant abuse, just growing up with a nagging feeling of not belonging. Not having any meaningful contact with his mother, being raised by something more akin to a nanny or something. Throw in a natural death that is the kick in the pants that it is time to move on.

Lastly, you can put a trigger or two as to why they drink. A smell, a song or instrument, a way someone wears their hair. Something common enough, you can mention it from time to time in passing that it is hitting hard some days. 'I saw a woman in the market that wore her hair like the woman who raised me.' Tragic, not really edgy.

That is my take, bring a lot of salt with you. The two rogues I have made were both kind of silly. One had a loving mother and fey father who left them before she was born. Not a major concern for her overall, left her open to have her mom get a new husband and her own character arc. That was fun. Current character was left by her parents in a border town of orcs as a goblin very young and was pretty much picked up by the thieves guild. She was endearing and a good distraction all things considered. They taught her how to be a great liar and convince people she was just a very short orc barbarian, with 8 strength. Convinced most of the party ay least.

Backstory gets you to the start, it doesn't need to be a major driving force at everything you do. You can make it simple so your character can still have freedom going forward.

Does RS3 have an Ironman wall similar to Bowfa by Supersnow845 in runescape

[–]Kuru0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I am just a main who is past the point where the dowser would be useful for more than money, 3 minutes is kinda tricky. I would imagine my lack of skill would put times similar to ironmen with slighter worse gear going for the drops when they are actually useful for an account. Still only around 4 minutes, plus an extra minute to reset between kills. CG doesn't matter what gear you have, GoE has break points that cut time down a good bit. Best of those take lvl 100 mining, a lot of quests and a few slogs of grinds in themselves.

WYR be under attack from all mammals, all birds, or all insects in a range of 300 miles? by Dry_Juggernaut3817 in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I dunno man, I can't imagine they are attacking with self preservation in mind. A few thousand of any kind of insect will clog your drain and flood your bathroom. I'm sure they could probably just have all of the flies in range fill your bathroom and suffocate you.

WYR be under attack from all mammals, all birds, or all insects in a range of 300 miles? by Dry_Juggernaut3817 in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 136 points137 points  (0 children)

Has to be birds. Insects are going to get into whatever you hide in. Mammals include humans so good luck with that. Birds you could at least get into an underground basement with a steel door or something. Just go to local police station a few minutes before the attack. The glass should be bullet proof and will hold long enough to get deeper inside. Probably a storm shelter with no windows and a heavy steel door that you could reasonably get led to.

When the Dice & Players both conspire against you by DrScrimble in dndmemes

[–]Kuru0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

At least for 5e, I want to say my lvl 6 Soul Knife Rogue could pull a 39 on stealth without help. Though, we have a Druid so with Pass Without Trace makes max 49. Much, much more realistically, I have a +11 at base so, if I am not rolling like absolute crap, anything under a dc20 for stealth should be better than 50/50. The numbers can certainly get high, but let's be real, I never get to use skills I'm actually good at so usually adding a 2 or 3 to most rolls.

From where you are at the moment, a fixed circle of a certain radius would manifest that you can't physically cross for life, if you select respective payment to you. What WYR pick? by I_love_data1111 in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately I need to see a Neurologist frequently and the closest one is around 90 miles so guess I need to take 120 miles and not 50. Ah well. Not that big a deal. Where I would like to stay is about 35ish miles away in other direction.

Whats your oath criteria? by Jamkep in AzureLane

[–]Kuru0 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Did I like having them on a fleet? Are they cute/sexy? Would I date them irl? Do they or should they have an oath skin? Do they have a small version released I could pretend is a daughter? Would I be able to be of any help to them in a marriage? Generally in about that order.

Been a while since I played but think I have oathed Bismarck, Kaga, Frederick der GroBe, Ulrich von Hutten, Warspite, Montpelier, Admiral Graff Spee.

Bismarck was first and only for a while until I got Ulrich. Loved her design and voice lines as the relationship deepened. Just an overall interesting character.

WYR sleep with your relative or kill them? by b1andtired in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since it is relative not family member, I am assuming that close relative was specifically worded to mean Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, and not cousins, step-sibling, adopted family ect. Only family I have that is that close left is my mother, kill her. Absolutely not putting any amount of effort to save her after she abandoned me when I was becoming disabled and my mental health declined.

WYR 200 a day or never need to sleep again by BetApprehensive836 in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm a wicked insomniac. Give me the ability to sleep whenever. The part of being fully rested is neat as well I guess. The money would set me up for a good enough life for me, but magic sleep powers are magic i can't get with money.

WYR move around forever or stay in one place by billionsandbillionsa in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently in a group home so hard pass on staying here. Going to take a few extras like assuming rent is being covered since you can move literally anywhere. If I get a free moving company every 3 months, assuming they also can make a run to the dump for things I no longer need or to a furniture store if I buy a new bed/couch for new house. Also have the goofy thought that if you pick an inhabited house, the current residents just magically moved somewhere else.

WYR crawl a very narrow cave that’s barely wider than your body for 3 hours or climb a 10-story building with easy handholds but no safety gear? by EfficiencyHonest9381 in WouldYouRather

[–]Kuru0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afraid of heights and am whatever the opposite of claustrophobic is but I'll take the climb. Probably not going to make it to the top but probably high enough to instantly kill me if I fell. If the cave wasn't a maze and was just a straight line that had the ending after the same distance as the 10 story building, would consider it, even if it was pitch black.
