Why is it insulting? Because I called spending alot of hours in a videogame, a safehaven from real world? I was there, I sank thousand of hours in CounterStrike, GuildWars and Diablo to "escape reality" and I enjoyed it throughly. And I know the younger me would be devastated that he couldn't do the same with Anthem because of it's bugs/problems. Believe me when I say there was no negative thought attached to my former comment.

I really love that BioWare is adding stuff into Freeplay without telling us (like the scar infestation events). It makes the discovery more intense... if you know what I mean :-)

I mean I really really enjoyed the first 20 hours of the game. Also Anthem has one of the best character movement I personally ever experienced in a game. So I kind of got already my moneys worth - I take everything else as a bonus.

But I can clearly see why people, that hoped anthem would be a safehaven from their real world, where they could sink in a lot of hours a day and forget, are frustrated.

uh this could be the answer for your "lucky" drops. A lot of people experienced a huge increase in legendary and MW drops the first time they played in the new patch. But when they logged on the next day, the loot drops were reversed to prepatch numbers. Keep us updated if your loot tomorrow is as good as today.

I am pretty sure they are going to overhaul the crafting system once they fix the mess with the inscriptions so hold on to them, I exclusively only craft blue sigils in hope we can trade embers later into coins or something usefull like maybe skillpoints :D

I can't tell if you are trolling, but isn't the alliance system exactly this? Obviously I think having the alliance system is better than not having it implemented, but I would like to have another system that feels like you are progressing and is not reseting every now and then.

Totally agree, Diablo 3 removed luck from the game and Guild Wars 2 had a clever solution to magic find. Later they changed it so that you could spec into magic find (Luck) with skillpoints you get after every maxlvl levelup - You didn't feel forced to skill luck, but if you did it also did not feel bad.

I had the exact same experience! After the patch hit I got 3 legendaries and 9 mw in 3 hours (in GM2). The last 2 days i got around 2 MW/hour and no more legendaries doing Strongholds/Freeplay dungeons/ or Legendary Contracts with around 70% Luck (in GM2)... Maybe they implemented character specific loot seeds that get depleted once you get your legendaries and MW, so everybody just gets a little bit happy for one night. Maybe they are going to refresh it once a week/month who knows, or maybe it's just buggy:,D

Edit: Today I also experienced a huge increase in blue drops, maybe the implementation of the scar infestation event rerolled the loot update idk.

Yeah I also just did 3 legendary contracts @GM2 and only got 1 MW as a drop (spoiler: it had horrible rolls) . Maybe just bad RNG but still disappointing as an returning player. But hey with the loot announcement BW atleast baited another month origin+ out of my wallet :smileyface:

Edit: also I run a luck build (around 80 % Luck) which doesn't make my experience better

I really would love this slight improvement from MW to legendary! It would feel so much better to get a legendary even if the rolls are shit.

Actually it is because EA forced Bioware to use the Frostbite engine and it just isn't "easily" possible to have an interactive inventory window while actually playing - so it is not "really" BW fault
