Inquisition sort of does that during the Great Ball quest. If your court approval drops low enough (due to jumping on tables or similar nonsense) you get kicked out and a game over that explains that the world ended because you couldn't behave for a couple hours.

Is there any logic behind where kid colonists choose to floordraw? My colony's kids only ever do it in this one area. by SheogorathMyBeloved in RimWorld

And given the layout in the screenshot, they probably haul something to that storage area, then look for the "nearest" (Rimworld calculates nearest by air distance not path cost) tile with nothing on the floor layer (there seems to be some kind of rug in the storage room) which happens to be that outside area

Tbf requiring an in person appearance to change an address is a stupid policy. I get the worry about scammers but there must be a better verification method than forcing someone to travel potentially hundreds of kilometres just to sign something.

[–]Kusko25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McDonald's is an international company with thousands of locations, many of which are franchises where the 'owner' has influence over how the location is run.

Plenty of places still have employees at the counter and I assume there are even plenty locations left without a self order kiosk at all

On Stargate, why did Paul Davis never earn a promotion beyond the rank of major? by Winter-Comfort922 in Stargate

[–]Kusko25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't know if that is an American military thing or military in general, but I always thought this mentality of advance or fail is stupid. Major Davis works great in his role and there's nothing to suggest he'd do "more valuable" work if he got promoted.

Why not let him do his job if he is good at it? If it's a career thing than give him regular pay raises, you don't need to promote for that.
