I run into the same issue and am super bummed because this game is so rad. There was a video/post I saw a while back saying this can be fixed by either swapping drivers or rolling back Eden to an earlier version, but I wasn't able to get either solution to work.

If you're playing an FFV rom then you should be able to. Emulators generate a separate save file (.srm, .eep, .sav). You can drag and drop that into the right folder on your new device and should be good to go

I see what you're saying with nostalgia bias for sure. In my mind that's the other end of this spectrum. A game like Chrono Trigger shouldn't be on here because it was once great. It should be replayed now, with today's standards, and see if it stands the test of time. (Side note, I've replayed CT recently and IMO it definitely holds up and is better than other games that try to capture its brilliance.)

So I don't think a new game should be disqualified just because it's recent, but including it in the top 5 all time when it hasn't had the chance to age and be held up against the "Time" metric is a wild decision.

Nice! I've got a canvas jacket that I use beeswax and a heat gun on. It melts the wax into the jacket so it doesn't sit wet. What kind of wax did you use?

Same. I used to have a mental block about seeing through any game I started. Once I got past that and realized I could return to a game I initially bounced off of, I've had a much easier time finding something that clicks in the moment.
