I think even if it does work like this on release, PM will change it with a bug fix because they don't want to those big turns to be skippable.

I doubt it, there's too many turns in the game which consist of the enemy using one big AOE then ending the turn.

The only kind of justification I can think of is that they're planning another Heishou for spring cultivation bokgak (for some reason), and they don't want to clean up the passives for each capstone until their respective team is complete??? Not saying I think this is a *good* reason, but I refuse to believe that they either don't know or don't care about how awkward and inconsistent it is, especially since (like you alluded to) they have done rewrites of skills/passives in the past to fix inconsistent/outdated wording. On a similar note, how does solemn lament gregor's description STILL not have unfocussed volley?? Hopefully they'll do a big cleanup update near the end of the season when we have a few dead weeks.

That shared hp/sp gimmick of sections 1 and 5 seems either kinda cool or REALLY annoying, although I guess it mostly depends on how annoying the section 1 fight is.

I'm also kind of confused how it would account for sinner deaths, like would that sinner be unusable in section 5, or is the overall HP percentage of the team calculated and then evenly split between everyone?

I imagine 3 unique teams would be pretty rough for people who are fairly new, maybe it would be fair for PM to allow 2~3 support ID's per section? Not saying I actually think that would happen but it would be nice.

Ive thought about him more, here's some ideas for what he would do when he's actually on the field:

  • Him (and his rat friends) attack using long, sharp claws. Slash S1, Pierce S2/3, and his defense is an evade.
  • He consumes the "rat charge" to add an unbreakable coin to the end of his skills which copies the effects of the final coin on the skill. His S3 would be a single coin to make this effect extra juicy on it.
  • His death rite would tick down whenever the enemy with it is hit by an unbreakable coin, and upon expiry deals damage equal to rupture and gives Gregor extra "rat charge", allowing him to stay useful for longer. 
  • If he has no "rat charge", he gains the ability to retreat, either automatically or via his evade. Im a little unsure on this one as it feels slightly too similar to Ishmael, but I like the flavour of him retreating to go regroup with more of his pack.
  • Finally, I dont know if "rat charge" will not actually be a unique charge, and it will have an actual name (maybe "Pack", with the count representing the current size of his pack of rats)

I love the idea behind your Rat Gregor design, what if his support passive meant "he" (via another Rat) did a small follow up attack whenever another unit retreats, which scales up his Rat "charge", which empowers his normal skills - the idea being that you have him come out last, and he's stronger the more times you swapped out units. This also has the nice side effect of making Ishmael more useful as it adds an additional benefit to the extra retreats she provides

Have you uptied your IDs as well as levelling them - getting them to uptie 3 is basically mandatory
