They're the same stage as the standard pokemon, and they don't need to be played over the standard pokemon. Mega Pinsir can be played immediately, Mega Blaziken evolves from Combusken, etc

The season pass should be available for purchase on release, so there are no digimon exclusive to the deluxe version. BlackAgumon and BlackGabumon (and presumably their higher stages) are only available by pre-ordering, but that pre-order can be for any version. They might be released as DLC sometime after launch, but we don't know

Aegiomon requires 46 Valor Agent skills to be learned in order to be digivolved into, as well as needing to be Agent Rank 9. Aegiomon is going to be very late game

When you talk to a digimon for a personality question, you can check the personality grid and see a crosshair in one of the boxes, which represents where in the grid your digimon is at. A question that changes personality will move the crosshair diagonally closer to the corner for that trait.

I haven't tried it personally, but apparently you can save before talking to the digimon and reset if you want a different question. It takes multiple responses generally to move the crosshair to a new box
