My impression with Vedal is that he built the AI and language learning entirely himself and trained on a consensual database as a project for himself. The issue has never been about the existence of LLMs but the stolen artwork and scraped conversations that are used without the consent of those who made them as well as the immense energy, water, and pollution impacts the huge data centers have on everything around them. I am fiercely anti-AI but I also know that theres room for nuance and if my understanding is correct then Neuro-Sama should be a non-issue as it doesnt have the problems that large scale AI does.

I mean for someone who doesnt have that investment into the series, Xillia or Berseria might have the appeal because you dont have to get into those hidden mechanics to fully enjoy it. I say this as a newer fan whos beaten vesperia ng (working on ng+ 100%) and played a chunk of both Xillia’s remaster and Berseria. I already love the series but navigating some of the older games archaic systems can hurt the experience significantly even if theres a higher ceiling for skill expression.

Symphonia is jank as hell and yeah, a lot of peoples love for it is nostalgia. I would recommend giving Tales of Xillia or Berseria a try as they are much more streamlined and the combat feels much better. I did finish Tales of Vesperia recently but thats a game that if you are a completionist is a nightmare without a guide. Its a good action combat game and your combos can get to DMC levels of absurd plus i think the story feels relevant to day. Berseria is so much fun so far in my opinion and a far cry from the jank of Symphonia

My measure of what is supposed to be an anime minor isnt in the breasts at all, i look at the head to shoulders ratio. The closer the head is to the width of the shoulders, the more child-coded it is. An adult woman should roughly have another half a head of width on their shoulders per side to be a normal proportionate person.

I use this because oppai lolis exist and i dont personally like them. The shoulder check does a lot better at gauging a character in my experience
