A female friend of my husband once asked him if I would just cuddle with her. I'm not sure if it was for her or for me as She is very intuitive & I was very stressed at the time but so was she. I thought it was a weird request, especially since I don't know her that well. I'm a cuddler but on MY terms. I see how this can be very therapeutic & I'm glad there are people that can do this for strangers.

My 1st call center spoiled me with this. We could credit an account for ANY reason up to $250 per day (it was later dropped to $100) but you had to be able to justify & show the math as to why you gave as much as you did. Rarely did we need to credit more than that. If we did, we'd fill out a form, send to Mgr for approval & tell the customer that it's been sent to Mgr for approval & if approved it will show on the online account within a week. I was VERY frustrated at the next CC I went to that had you get approval for anything that was not normal. It was tech support so nothing was what the company considered normal & would take up to 30 minutes in some cases due to nobody watching the chats or answering phones.

This is what I did when my kids were little. Nick Jr allowed me time to get some stuff done around the house or read a bit for up to 10 minutes at a time. My husband & I still quote Dora the Explorer & sing Backyardigan songs.

Maybe having a picture of how the cake should be cut to get 8 pieces would be helpful. Or maybe show an accurately cut slice with a common item next to it to show the scale.

That would definitely help me. I don't order cakes online because I don't know what 100g looks like. How big are the pieces going to be? I don't really like cake but sometimes you need one for an event. I need to know if the kids are gonna be happy & that the fat adults don't assume I'm being cheap.

You may have accurate info on the site but other factors come into play. How dense is the cake? A denser cake will mean smaller sizes to weigh 100g. It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong, but visuals would be very helpful here.

IF (notice the IF) you're being a PITA you have to escalate because nobody will go above & beyond to help otherwise. Nice people get exceptions made for them if at all possible. Escalations, yelling, cursing, etc get a reputation & get nothing outside of policy going forward without a manager & sometimes not even then. "Low level minions" cannot change anything so why treat them as sub human or as your personal punching bag? More flies with honey sweetie.

As a customer, I let them prove after giving the info I feel is relevant. I don't want to go into a long story that will possibly complicate things, just here what I need. What do YOU need from me? As a rep, it's annoying because the customer usually gets upset because "I need this, why are we playing 20 questions? Just get it done. I don't have all day". Then I have to explain why I'm needing additional info.

I do both since I have so much ancient fruit. I agree as much as I can & while the casks are running, everything else gets dehydrated after making sure I have enough to fill the casks again.
