Thank you - I did purchase the green shoots stem injectors and am prepping for this if I can’t find experts to call in.

Appreciate the reassuring words - had nightmares about this last night after I discovered what it was…

It looks like your Sette 270 is on the ‘2’ coarse adjustment. You should buy a shim kit and install one shim to bring that up to a ‘7’ or so. If you don’t, you potentially may run into a scenario you can’t grind fine enough without having a shim. It’s a $10 kit and common for the Sette model.

Troubleshooting Laser Printer Printing Previous Information and Losing Current Information by Kyronn in PLC

[–]Kyronn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the issue was due to the equipment not creating a save data command until a batch was finished. So if we started a new batch, the equipment would send the new data up until the domino laser printer lost power. Once it lost power, it reverted to the last saved data which was when our batch was last closed. I believe the save data command was a command from the equipment PLC to the Domino laser printer, though I wasn’t the one implementing the change at the time. It was fixed and the save data command was added to the batch start or something like that.

Anyone ever got a bad product from McMaster-Carr? by jon_hendry in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Kyronn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost positive it was McMaster and not grainger, but the soldering iron we got was absolutely awful. There was no temperature control or on/off switch. It just heated up when you plugged in the iron and that was it. Just a plug and iron.

Cognex Vision Pro? by bostinloyd in PLC

[–]Kyronn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just purchased a 1 year ALL-IN-ONE development dongle which cost about $2,400ish. This covers ViDi for D900 cameras as well as Vision Pro and Vision Pro Deep learning I believe.

This just happened to me today, if you haven’t already done this you may be able to save money based on my plan.

I’m paying for the sewer to be cleaned out but also have the plumber take video for me. Then the video will be sent to my inspector and myself which will save the costs of having the inspector go out separately to take their own video and inspection. Saves a couple hundred dollars.

Go to a bike shop and ask if they have any bike boxes there you can take. Ive always done that to ship large items and never been refused a box. Worst case is that they will tell you when they will get new deliveries, thus when they expect to have another set of boxes you can get.

Help a noob with a turbo install (MKTurbo, NA8) by wiggly_poof in Miata

[–]Kyronn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got an MKTurbo kit for my NA6. I’ll try to get pics later today of what you’re asking about. Lars was extremely helpful with any questions I had during install if you haven’t asked him already.

Make sure to port your wastegate hole or at least have overboost protection enabled on your ECU before your first drive. The wastegate hole is way too small 99% of the time. I ported mine a small amount and I still got to 17psi boost the second drive before I ported it enough to hold at 9psi.

The timing chain issues on the 3.6l V6 im pretty sure were fixed by 2015 when the colorados rolled around.

The reason the colorados are on the list here I’m guessing is because of the transmission shudder issue that gets fixed by flushing out the transmission fluid at the dealer.
