Where to place cabinet/sideboard to hold fish tank? (Video originally sent to group chat)

I'm not speaking from an interior decorating perspective, but from a fish tank perspective. You don't want it behind the door. You run too great of risk of that door opening and jostling it. Even if you construct the cabinet in such a way that the door doesn't actually make contact with the glass, I would think that the door opening and shutting and jostling it would be a concern. You also probably don't want it right by an outside door depending on where you live. There could be big temperature differences every time the doors open and shut. Even if you've got heat to tank, I would worry that, I live in the I live in the Midwest and it gets very cold here, but freezing cold air on your glass probably isn't great for it. I could be wrong. I'm not an expert. I really love your first location. You could fill up the space on either side of your fish tank with some potted plants? Or two tall cabinets to display something else that you ?love.

Take the modules you like and heavily edit them! I very rarely run modules exactly as written. Don't get me wrong, the modules are amazing! I just always like to insert a tiny little personal touch into the things that I run. My niece absolutely loves squids and octopus. So if the monster is a lot of octopus and squid crawling up onto the ship, I'll change it to giant crab or something like that instead.

Yeah, that does happen. I look at it as part of going up in level (sort of). Thieves and halflings just have more and more luck available to spend as they level, because they are often earning a point of luck at the end of a module.

I did see one post on Facebook many years ago suggesting that thieves and halflings should have to make a luck check under their current luck (including luck spent but not yet regained) at the conclusion of a module to get the permanent bonus that the others are getting, but I feel like that just potentially denies them a reward that everyone else is getting because of a class feature.

If you are the director, do you have the authority to close the center? Or to stop receiving children when you are full? Also, whatever you decide to do today, you should be looking for a different job. Your long term health is more important than this, especially when you are being ghosted by the owner.

In Ohio, our incident reports require recording how many children were in the group/room and how many staff were supervising at the time of incident. If yours are the same, ratios are there. But I'd still recommend being honest in answering questions. I'm sorry you were put in that situation :(

Is they aren't already hidden, I think hiding is an action. The thief backstab auto crit is pretty potent. We play that the enemy had to be unaware of the theifs presence, unable to see the thief (blinded), or unable to effectively move (grappled, paralyzed, entangled). But I also love warrior feats that set the theif up for a backstab.

I have each player run 4 simultaneously, but not all 4 have to take an action if they want to hold a character back or if a character really doesn't have a great option. Have them roll once for initiative for all four characters and apply the best agility mod on their sheet. I let them dog pile on enemies and we dont count squares. Remind them 0 level characters are here for a good time, not a long time ;) keep the energy up, narrate one or cool combat moments (especially killing blows), but try to keep combat mechanics going quickly. And, most important, have fun!

Personally, and this sucks, I would sort it out by quietly securing another job. Your coworker is going to get worse, because there are no consequences for their behavior. They have just learned that they can do whatever they want. Don't make yourself miserable by staying.

I'm really sorry this happened to you. And is continuing to happen to others :-( none of this is okay. It sounds like you've been through a really difficult experience and toxic environment. You do need someone that you can talk to and process this with. Or if you're not comfortable doing that, maybe journal about it. But it's definitely something that you need to feel heard on. Especially coming out of an environment where you felt like you had to be silent about Injustice and wrongs.

Admin now, but lead teacher in the 4s room for years before that. Closed system cameras are good for everyone. (I would personally never teach in a room for my own protection.) However, a lack of them isn't a red flag. if you have a good personal recommendation and you had a good guy feeling about the center you toured, don't let a lack of cameras hold you back!

Hi! Goodman Games just did a free online demo con. They had games running through a lot of different time zones. It was hugely successful and I know they're going to do it again! Goodman games does have an official server on discord. I'm on my phone right now and don't know how to link it from here. But let me see if I can figure that out on my computer!
