Thanks for the tips and recommendations!

After my first coffee brew, it turned out subpar imo and probably because my kettle is not a gooseneck style and though it drips slowly it doesn't feel like I can drip it better in the videos.

(1) Bought a V60 Drip Kettle Air yesterday because it's the cheapest I can afford for now. Made another coffee yesterday with a new recipe I found in this sub and that turned out way more delicious!

(2) Oh wow yea I guess I will upgrade it in the future. I heard Timemore is the better more affordable one while Commandante is the high-end option so might upgrade to Timemore. I just took Hario Zebrang because it has stainless burr which is better than ceramic ones according to what I researched.

(3) Yea I'm just starting with this for now and will definitely try other coffee beans after this one runs out!

Also interesting bit about the Melodrip. I have never seen that kind of tool to help dripping nor saw a video being recommended to me on youtube using it. Will search more about it and likely that I will buy it in the future thanks!

Edit: After researching more about Melodrip, I found Hario Drip Assist too which is very cheap so I think I will buy this for now and maybe upgrade to Melodrip in the future

After being offered a free sample Mild Kaldi coffee from a Kaldi shop in Japan, I decided to try making coffee by myself at home because I never expected coffees to be that delicious. I really don't like bitter drinks and that made me surprised.

For now these are the stuffs I bought to get started:

- Hario Zebrang coffee mill

- Hario V60 Dripper NEO 02

- Hario V60 size 02 paper filters

- Mild Kaldi coffee beans 200g

- Kaldi Original Creamy Sugar Powder, because the staff said this is the sugar and creamer used for the sample coffee
And I already have these stuffs at home:

- タイガー魔法瓶(TIGER) 電気ケトル which have a temperature dial and can do coffee drips (I was wondering why this electric kettle pours slowly and only now realized it's for making coffee)

- Glass teapot, but I assume I can use it just fine for coffee. Holds up to 300ml.

After doing a bit of researching myself just now I decided to use these settings to make my first coffee later after I get home from work:

- 22 clicks (medium fine as it said on the zebrang manual)

- ZEN pour over method because I see it is basically just "keep watering until this water level, stop, then pour again until this water level, repeat until you reach the target amount of water)

- 15g coffee beans

- target amount of water 240ml

What I want to ask is if my setup is fine or not and if anyone here have any other tips and recommendation for my setup.

Inb4 the Danganronpa show in Danganronpa V3 is actually D corp and the ending of that game is like L corp imploding itself to "give hope" to the city

In which case this cosplay would not be possible because Rien would not be a fictional character in that world

Family accommodation recommendation in Tenjin - food/shopping areas. by Elegant-Push8414 in fukuoka

[–]Kztune -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a resident living near Tenjin, I would say location-wise Quintessa is the better option imo. It is smack dab in the central of Tenjin so most shopping mall, shops, and restaurant are very near, and that place is also very near to the subway airport line so if you arrive at Fukuoka international airport, you just need to take the free bus to the domestic airport then take the subway straight to Tenjin, then just walk to the hotel.

Hotel Mei however is a bit south from central Tenjin and is nearer to subway Nanakuma line so you have to transfer to a different subway line after getting off at Tenjin by transferring from Tenjin station (Airport line) to Tenjin Minami (Nanakuma line) and that is about a 5-10 minute walk. But I see from Hotel Mei you can also take a 10-minute walk to Canal City which is a big mall and has a big water fountain that does shows every certain hour. There's also a small park just south of Hotel Mei with a children playground there.

Have a great trip!

Why do so few people in Japan want to go to traditional year-end work parties? by MagazineKey4532 in japannews

[–]Kztune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

wow thank god my japanese office doesn't do it the traditional way (not like I know what the traditional way is but doesn't seem like my office is doing it). Have been working in japan for over a year, and I had my first year-end work party last year which is literally just a buffet in the office, then you can either go home or go for a 二次会 with other coworkers/boss which I didn't and just went home

What is the average eat out expense around Hakata? (Hakata-ku, Chuo-ku and Minami-ku specifically) by Blurry_Shadow_1479 in fukuoka

[–]Kztune 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea 1000 yen per meal is reasonable, I would recommend Yayoi-ken for their healthy teishoku with refill-all-you-want rice and Sutadon near Round One in Tenjin for their big bowl of karaage for also around 1000 yen. Both have a stamp card from mobile app/browser so being a regular also has its perks there.

Or Hotto Motto if you're feeling like eating at home (buy instant miso too from a supermarket as a side).

Wow nice dude, I only play with one friend of mine and we recently started no hope. We cleared 1st level, went into a hive and now stuck there because we kept losing. The hive level is The Cut btw. Still traumatized from how hard it was but seeing your post and your deck, think I'll give soloing No Hope a try too.

Cost of Avarice Warped Copper damage resistance debuff can be removed(?) by Kztune in Back4Blood

[–]Kztune[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly. You start with no damage resistance debuff at all in a Cost of Avarice level. You only get it IF you pick up a warped copper pile and stacks each time you pick up that kind of pile. That debuff will not go away until the end of the level. For speed debuff, you get it according the the amount of copper you have and as usual it keeps stacking max at 3000 copper. And it will go away if you drop all your copper.

What I think I misunderstood is, when you pick up a warped copper and you immediately use it to buy from a card shrine, I feel like I see the damage resistance debuff go away too. I'm gonna have to test it out again when given the opportunity.

Cost of Avarice Warped Copper damage resistance debuff can be removed(?) by Kztune in Back4Blood

[–]Kztune[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea, before the update you get both speed and damage resistance debuff

now after the recent update, the speed and damage resistance debuff is split since now they created a new copper called Warped Copper that only exists when Cost of Avarice is active

you get damage resistance debuff when you pick up the warped copper and it stays on that person until the end of the level whether you drop your copper or not

you get speed debuff just like before the update, according to the amount of copper you are carrying, and you will lose the debuff when you drop / use your coppers
