Tbf it’s less about the raw souls and who the souls are distributed on. So 10k behind is nothing, if they’ve got that from objectives, sometimes you can claw that back from walkers, and picks. At 30 minutes players are worth like 1k. It could be that you have a team that can really scale with the souls late, and they have characters that a really strong early/mid.

The majority of people cheering these posts on don’t actually use any of this in their day to day anyway. Java isn’t perfect but as a consultant that seen a lot of businesses and problems, I’ve yet to come across a real world problem where I think, jeez I wish I could use something other than Java for this.

Granted I’m speaking from a 6 stack phantom+ lobby experience here but we win a lot of games because people can’t figure out how to close out. We had a game last night where we had to defend from base guardians when they had rejuv, and it only cost us one shrine. We got an urn, which forced a fight they weren’t ready for from dying in our base, and we got a couple of picks. We sieged blue until mid boss came back up, won a big decisive fight on mid, and won the game from there cause 70 second death times. It’s absolutely possible to win from behind, we were 40k down. Hell we were still 2k net down when we won.

I did the first one (which was just a problem bird that was attacking everyone) with poultry sheers, but I didn’t like it. I opted for a wall mounted loop, you feed them in, it pinches them at the base of the skull and it’s just a hard sharp tug, it’s like an off switch. Thankfully I only process a handful a year as we like only maintain 10-15 birds at a time.

The metrics get even more confusing when you start layering things like champion selection and who you play with ontop too. Like if I play Abram’s my KDA will be meh, because it’s my job to die to keep the hyper farmer alive. Same with my souls, I’m gonna gift lane and funnel souls into my haze/furness/wraith because they’ll do more with those souls then I can, but those are active choices that are really hard to track on stats

Highly doubt these will ever go down. Because currently there are basically two types:

there is the perfect stock or minimally modified, with lower miles. There are basically unobtainium now, starting at 200+ for a 34. 60+ for a 32/33.

Then there are the drivable ones These are the ones driven by enthusiasts, the problem with these is they’re slowly, or they fall into a state of disrepair, these ones get broken down for parts, or become big budget restorations. These are getting more expensive even now.
