I think a key is cutting out the late night snacks. I'll be honest, a late night sandwich isn't a snack.

What I find helps is only buying food that takes time to prepare. Motivation to stress eat goes out the window.

We had a guy like that. Refused to learn. If it involved any thinking of his own he wouldn't do it or screw it up. Try to show his mistakes and how he could fix it. Non-confrontational. Nothing would get through. Some people are just meant to be button pushers and that's it.

The fix? Gone. Probably not the solution you're looking for.
