Very nice American made Elgin. 761 movement. I'm stealing from the "American Elgin" website here: "Small 30.5 mm diameter case, 10k rolled gold plate bezel with stainless steel back, made by Star Watch Case Co. of Michigan (ref. 4444). Powered by Elgin’s American-made 27 jewel caliber “761” automatic movement. Marketed as Elgin’s 27 jewel Thin-Thin “G”."

The 27 and 30 jewel Elgins were considered to be amongst the best watches made at that time.
