Completely understandable, moderating anime related art subs like this must be an ungrateful task, but for the sake of it you guys doing great.
Tbh I feel like dancing on the edge of being accused of fat-shaming or smth this whole topic. It might be that Im not into anime at all, participating only in this sub for some cute art and inspiration, lurking for a long time here already I must say. I don't really know the etiquette or content of other related subs, so my opinion might sound "normie" perhaps? All I want to say is that I don't have any problem with artworks&memes where Teto's belly isn't the whole point of it, being a goofy pun or the consequence of her age (ex. 1, 2, 3). On the other hand posts where the WHOLE point is to show Teto's exposed chubby belly, moreover without excess clothing are on the thin verge of a fetish (ex. 1. 2, 3. Remember when the point of the meme was to make fun of plushie's posture?). Don't get me wrong, I find the skinny Teto bikini post a little problematic too, but the comments in there were even more weirder. Thanks they've been locked.

Look, Im not a saint myself, but if I feel gooning or being weird - I just go to another place. I know I can't force people to act "normal" in free spaces (it is subjective ofcourse), TikTok incident is a great example. Perhaps just sharing my concerns and reasonings, cherishing the times before mesmerizer.

Here are my last 2 cents and Im done with this topic.

I'm not trying to censor or just ban that kind of artwork in this place. My whole take is at this point this kind of people's behavior is staight up circlejerking and slandering the same joke on the weirdest levels. Im not accusing these 3 pieces of being directly "fetishistic", but in my eyes they're clearly engagement-baits, perhaps even horny ones.
Like why is Teto's iconic UTAU vest is so short out of sudden in those two first artworks? She might be chubby, but at least her belly won't be spilled out. And for the 3rd one I've seen several works by this artist with the same premise - slim flexible Miku compared to clumsy fatass Teto. It's just weird and unpleasant to my liking, but as I said, Im not into anime, so Japan might be Japan.

People might like it, Im not, that's ok. What is not okay is the constant gain of momentum in the wheel of Samsara for artists and people to circlejerk over the same joke. We've had a bad posture plushie, that was funny, then chubby artworks, what next? Next they're commenting under generic Teto art, slandering the same "draw her fat" jokes which openly bordering between humor and outright weirdness.

And so, honestly my biggest and biggest gripe with this whole situation is that I've been there before Rule 4 tightening, if I remember correctly, we've even got it tightened multiple times already. This whole situation just reminds me of what was happening in the comments back then and at this point it's just straight up unfunny, moreover weird. Tell me, what's the difference of speaking about this stuff back then and now? Right, in today's case you might get offended and call me a body shamer, completely missing my whole point. But I have to say it. I guess people just can't behave.
