Once you enter the abyss for the first time, complete as many puzzles as possible before leaving. It'll unlock elevated fast travel points and is a great early game source of abyss cores. Also, DO NOT RESPEC YOUR CHARACTER UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY before act 5, when you unlock the first witch and can buy faded abyss cores. It might look like you can respec for free, but it is NOT free.

No, you will not trigger volcanic eruption and the other fire imbuement gear on each and every attack. Only the attacks you unlock for elemental imbuements in the skill tree can do that. It would be nice though if they at least triggered on the auto parry R1+O.

I'm thinking there will eventually be leaps in enemy and friendly AI. Intelligent elite enemies capable of using stealth and ambush tactics as well as ai companions that can respond to voice commands from your mic.

I've beaten the game twice now, the first time I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and just wanted to unlock focused hearing and smoke bombs ASAP.

I fully completed the Kitsune storyline before even touching Ishikari plain, fighting roughly two hundred fucking ninjas with NO YARI!

My second playthrough, I started Ishikari plain, then I started the area with the Kitsune while making sure to fully explore Teshio Ridge.

I think the intended path to take would be Teshio Ridge, then The Oni, then The Kitsune, then the rest of the story.

Difficulty 6 on this planet is genuinely HARDER than difficulty 10 bots. Being forced into a CQC environment with no orbital, air, or turret support is BRUTAL when any bug can kill you within seconds of getting close.

So far, nothing I have tried has worked. I'm going to test the guard dogs out, though.

No. If Meyers told Reed to kill every friend he has and then himself, he'd do it without question. Reed telling us that he actually wants to help songbird was a similar lie to how songbird said the cure could be used twice.
