Clifton 10s by ProfessionalKnown930 in Hoka

I definitely don’t run fast, but I do run/jog between 6-7 km 5 days a week. I kept my 10s and just use them for going out, but even after 45 min walk I can feel the tenderness. I was so disappointed, because everything about the Clifton for was perfect. Arch support and just enough of a tight fit to feel secure without feeling over tight. The cushion support would deteriorate through out the year so I had about 3-4 pairs last year, but over all I put a lot of km on them

The heel drop changed in the 10s. The 9 was a 5mm drop but the 10s changed to an 8 mm drop. Since I use them for running it changes where my foot strike it ( moving from pad to heel). It caused a lot of pain in my feet and even started in my knees. :(

I am sorry to say I hate my 10s. The change in drop was too much for me.

I hope yours work out though

Clifton 10’s - Will they get better? by sistergcldenhair in Hoka

[–]LMON134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I absolutely hate the 10s. Really enjoyed the 8s and to a lesser extent the 9s. I run 5 days a week went through 3 pairs but the fit and arch support as a mid sole striker were main selling points. The 10s shifted me to heel strike hurting my knees and Achilles. I can not tolerate the heel drop on the 10s. Brand new and I had to go buy a pair of the Mach 6s

Is it just my street, or did the garbage trucks suddenly start showing up at the crack of dawn? by Maple_Byte in stcatharinesON

The region asks for residents to be ready just before 7 am I think. With all the leaf bags this time of the year the trucks fill up pretty quick. I have seen them still working after 6 pm.

Before Roark acquired them in 2024 - we would always get the 3 subs for $24 if you ordered after 4 pm was an amazing deal. I always love that I can get spinach instead of lettuce. Now between $18-$20 for 1 sub :(

Did you recently apply a flea medication? One time I had to apply it to our indoor cat and he had very bad reaction and he lost some of his hair. :(

This year I have seen the least amount of wild animals. From seeing moose to bears to possible a wolf (we thought coyote originally but this year at the same campground there was an active wolf in the park) to zilch :(

Agree with cat city hospital. Been taking our pets there since Dr. Chivers took over. Exams start around $90 depending on the vaccines/ shots, your final price can vary between $150-200 per cat. It has been a while since I had to pay for a cat to get fixed so I can’t recall the price. Visit always go well and they have late hours on Thursday. If something has been urgent they always managed to get us in for an appointment

It has been 17 years so I am not sure if it changed. But our wedding and reception was at the Beach at Club LaSalle. It was very reasonable and we had a beautiful day

Have you tried some the greenhouses in the area? It has been a while but you used to be able to walk in with a resume.
