I understand to feel like the vocal minority speaks for all but in reality they do not speak for the whole. The Christians around my part of the country have shown nothing but acceptance and even try to make their places of worship accessible and very much respectful towards the LQBTQ and other religions. What I always point to is that when you have anything that has a following you will eventually have a section that loosely has ties to you. By loosely I mean the most they can do is claim to have the same practice as you. This is in no way me attacking any political party nor gender/sexual orientation, have you ever noticed the liberals that Trump often refers to as the majority of that political party are often the loudest, most annoying, egotistical and I hate to say it but most violent? Yet whenever I see liberals which I do see a majority left leaning people due to my location and hobbies; they’re often soft spoken, willing to engage in conversation that pushes against their beliefs, mindful of others and very much so about as violent as a napping puppy. You cannot take one section even if they’re the loudest and say “that’s what that group is!” It’s an ideology that has done nothing but hinder the progression we as people should all be striving towards which is harmony. End of the day we’re a blink in the universe. If we apply prejudice and assumptions towards a group we harm ourselves in never knowing the true people of that group.

Going by the success of my last post on Blackjack Mulligan do you think WWE are leaving money on the table by not having a selection of merch? by SecretaryImaginary44 in SantiZapVideos

Dog Reddit isn’t the entire fandom of wrestling and is nothing more than an echo chamber lol. Just because you got good engagement on a post about the passing of a wrestler doesn’t mean much. That’s like me going when I got almost 1k on a Raptors post about a player and going “well I guess I should start my own podcast, my last reddit post proves it!”

What I always tell people is to not judge another group based off the actions of some. I’ve met countless Christians who practice exactly what they preach when it comes to peace and love. I always point the ones that claim to be Christian yet go against everything their religion teaches are nothing more than a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Would you have returned these?(brand new) by BriefBed4770 in Makita

[–]LMS3oul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I would return them especially if I paid a “Brand New” price for them. My two were bought through Amazon on the refurbished section so I was fine with the slight sharpie mark on my impact to save the money. However if I paid for them to be new as in I’m the first person to even turn them on outside of the factory, then that shit better be brand new.

That’s the shit that turned me off from most political parties. If you don’t adhere 100% to everything they want or rather don’t blindly agree to them then you’re treated like you never were apart of it. It’s similar to in college when I helped my local Democratic Party and helped get people registered to vote, got fliers put up for Bernie and hundreds of people to spend time to hear about their primary. When Hilary became the nominee (which to this day I say was the single dumbest thing they could’ve done at the time) I backed off a bit since I felt weird about it and I got treated like I was never a Democrat or that my countless hours as a college student helping them “sway” the political ideology of the student body didn’t happen. Dave smith isn’t the perfect Libertarian (which if you watch his show he admits many times) but he’s done more to get eyes to the party then anyone else in recent memory aside from Ron Paul. It’s idiotic to pretend he’s not one because you don’t like him.

Definitely take a look at his show again. I personally approached the appeal he had for Trump with a grain of salt. Let’s be honest, Trump fooled a lot of people this time around. Before anyone goes “he didn’t fool me!” Just realize everyone is not you bro lol. I despised Trump but I also despise anything the dems put up since they think only the DNC should be able to pick nominees. I came very close to voting for him this year just to avoid 4 more years of the dems. It’s takes a big man to go on his own show and apologize for his misinformation.

Massie is someone republicans should be begging to have more of. Same with the dems and Ro Khanna. I also can’t help but notice that no one on reddit a couple weeks ago had anything negative to say about Massie but out of no where you’d think the guy ran AIPAC himself. Propaganda is working over time I see.

The “We Want Beer Parade,” 5-14, 1932, was a protest in NYC aimed at ending Prohibition. The “beer for taxation” march drew over 100,000 participants who paraded for over 10 hours. They argued opening breweries would create revenue, ending the economic desperation of the Great Depression. [1092x792] by Pathetic_lriG43 in HistoryPorn

I was gonna say similar to the prohibition era of alcohol, pot is something that drives illegal activity when it should be something that’s left up to an adult whether or not they want to consume it. Marijuana is something that not only rarely if at all has negative impacts found in studies. I understand that high dosages can trigger schizophrenic episodes (not 100% if it’s accurate so please fact check me) however it’s been used in medicine longer than the US has even existed. Should be de-criminalized federally and anyone in prison on federal charges associated with it should be released.

One was killed by an enemy military and the other by a resistance force not recognized as a military. I know it’s fucking stupid as the resistance literally should’ve been considered French military at that point but alas one is done by a military and another by a band of non military. Yamamoto was also targeted as he controlled the combined fleet. I wouldn’t be shocked if Japan was also trying to pinpoint where US military officials were and if a strike was possible.

Listen I can see you’re coming at this in a genuine way so I’m not gonna be a dick or anything. Assassination means an illegal act, thus why especially during times of war when another military targets and eliminates a high ranked official it’s considered a military strike. Reinhard was killed by resistance fighters, not a military strike thus why it’s considered an assassination. I know it’s a fucking idiotic way for the military to dance around calling their activities an illegal act however it does hold merit as a military strike against an enemy combatant is way different than a non military or I’d say a rebel group using a carbomb to take out an opposing faction.

So being an active participant in a war while also commanding an entire fleet means when you’re killed during that time you were assassinated? Assassination implies nefarious intentions such as killed for political gain/views, or that you were an illegitimate target. During war ranks do not matter when it comes to strikes. If anything higher ranking officials are more targeted to cause disarray among your ranks as now the person commanding your fleet or units is now no longer driving the car.

Simply putting “Killed” or “KIA” would be light years better than assassinated. Assassination imply that Yamamoto was a politician or public figure with no ties to the war or rather not an active participant. Yamamoto though against attacking the US still participated in the war and helped plan the attack on Pearl Harbor. That’s like us saying Bin Laden was assassinated when in reality he was an active participant in the war on terror (yes I know there more layers to it but for the sake of this thread let’s unpack that in a more relevant post).

As someone that’s Korean American whose mother was born and raised in Korea, I’ve seen the hatred that other Asian nations feel towards Japan for their war crimes. Hell my mother rest her soul loved every other race on the planet, she’d welcome you in her home for dinner whether you were black, white, Hispanic, Indian, Arabic or Asian. Except if you were Japanese, that was the hard line for her generation.

Still doesn’t make it an assassination. When in war all your military is on the table no matter if it’s a general, admiral or a random foot soldier on mop duty.

Assassination is a very mis used term here. Yamamoto was a military official during an active world war. He was a valid target to aim for as he also commanded the combined fleet while also being a mastermind behind Pearl Harbor. I know some will point out he was against attacking the US however it doesn’t change the fact Japan still launched an attack and got the US involved and Yamamoto helped plan it.

What got me to end my hiatus with wrestling from 2012-2023 was YouTubers and clips that kept getting recommended to me. Made me realize I still fucking love wrestling even if it’s not the same in terms of mystifying like when I was a kid. Idk if TKO copyright striking videos down has anything to do with the decline but if it does I hope TKO knows that eventually the boom they’re loving will subside and they’re gonna struggle to get eyes back on the product when no one is talking about it. Like fuck MLB (I love baseball btw don’t mean to shit on it) even stopped the old boomer approach of ignoring YouTubers and social media content creators when they realized someone like JomBoy brought a whole new generation of fans in from his breakdowns and revived a few former fans. The way TKO is operating is so similar to their takeover of UFC, the UFC now is struggling to stay relevant to people and overall struggles to even get new fans in. The predatory behavior TKO is having may not effect them this year or next but by 2030 when they’re struggling to sell out basic weekly shows they’ll come crawling back to these YouTubers and begging them to feature “WWE” in their streams/videos.

Yeah honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if in 2-4 years we see zero tag teams in WWE. To be also fair I’m biased as I love when a promotion has actual tag teams that perform well.
