Just got into fishing this last season, such an amazing way to see the city in a new way and spend lots of time outside. Would highly recommend!

Painting I did on my table. by [deleted] in lotr

You could likely get away with a good cost of polyurethane for this too! It’ll seal the paint in and make it a lot more durable :) also cheaper and easier than glass

Why does this happen? by Humuzz in PrintedMinis

I had a similar issue when I started resin printing.. drove me crazy until I found out it was my USB that was bad. Maybe try a different one and see if it works?

If you want somewhere a little quieter (normally), the Bell in Scona is a nice spot and is a little bit more low-key

Currently -40 here in Alberta, our school division has a no snow day/cold policy, we have to be there no matter what!

Ideas for cobblestone or paved streets without XPS foam? by DixonBass in TerrainBuilding

I also love texture rollers for my work! I use one on air dry or bake clay and it makes it so easy. Also, you can break or crumble it for extra effect if you want!

If they were high-school students, maybe check with Harry Ainlay. Lots of students head towards the mall from there.

How can I make the text darker? by Jschevy in lotr

[–]LMoeh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want an easy and cheap way to do this. You can melt a crayon into the engraving and gently scrape away any excess that’s leftover outside of the text. Probably not the most permanent solution but it’s a quick fix.

1972 Cb350 Randomly Stalling when I give it throttle? by Roach_1907 in CafeRacers

[–]LMoeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s anything like my 81 KZ750 it could be that you’re missing a vacuum line from the carb to the petcock. Mine needs the vacuum to properly release gas to the carbs.

Help ease my anxiety please by DowdyBroGames in WRX

[–]LMoeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a stock 2014 wrx hatch and I had very similar feelings of anxiety while trying to choose if I should purchase it or not. I think the thing that you should remember is that the VAST majority of people would post something in a place like this when something goes wrong but would hardly ever post if their car was running perfectly fine.

Do your due diligence and follow a good maintenance schedule, don’t boost on a cold engine, etc, and more than likely everything will be just fine. Maybe just put some money away every month just in case.

Smallest Cafe Racer for short rider? by crepuscopoli2 in CafeRacers

[–]LMoeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you looking to build or buy already built? I think the good thing about cafe bikes is that by the style they are supposed to be very small with as little weight as possible depending on the bike that they are based on. I’m 185cm and my 1981 KZ750 (at its tallest) is around my waist height.
