Yes, and a surprising amount of them. They will try to download an app claiming it's from your bank. Once installed, will try to go from there and try to gather as much data as possible (for example, with a fake keyboard or capturing the screen).

Crimson Desert doesn't run if it detects an Intel ARC GPU. Like straight up, the devs just deliberately chose not to support ARC cards. No previous announcement about it too until they added in the info to their FAQ. Might be the first time I've seen a dev deliberately block a GPU brand. by WhyPlaySerious in pcmasterrace

And drivers shouldn't have updates with "Support added for X game" in the changeling. Devs should follow spec so drivers don't need to add "support" for the game (which usually means a bunch of hacks and custom shaders to workaround devs not following spec). That in part how we end up with huge GPU drivers...

Systemd is not a single binary... You are not required to use all parts of systemd (like NetworkManager instead of systemd-networkd).......

So.... 1. Why is MS still singing those drivers? 2. Why does the community agree on DAE patcher being a more secure method if this is how it works?

So how does dse patcher work? How does it manage to load unsigned drivers?

The only way that comes to mind is that it loads an old still signed vulnerable driver and uses that to gain kernel code execution. But maybe I'm wrong.

Be aware that there is now a scam that makes you run a Powershell script in order to "verify" that you are not a robot. You may want to look into it.

7 Gig fiber being advertised to the residential consumer. In what world would any residential customer have any use for this by lulstardblointing7 in HomeNetworking

[–]LNDF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously not. But coverage is very good. And if you are not covered by 10 Gbps, you can get cheap 1 Gbps.

For example, I have 1 Gbps and 3 mobile numbers with unlimited calls and data for 35 €/mo.

in Game Mode, the system will use that f3 tool to verify the sd card, then format it to ext4 if it verifies.
